Yeah, so... I originally thought that this was a pairing of "Ichabod and Mr.Toad" and the feature that contained the story of Briar Rabbit. I realized after purchase that I was wrong. Either way, this is a set of two... maybe two and and a half movies.
First, we have "Ichabod and Mr.Toad". Disney's interpretation of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow is a delightful piece of animation that can be enjoyed by all, maybe little kids would get freaked out by the end. If the spookier parts of Fantasia are too much for them, I guess you should avoid it. Also, watch Fantasia. The entire thing is narrated/sung by legendary crooner Bing Crosby, so their's a big chunk of nostalgia for you. Alongside this Halloween tale, is the anthropomorphic animal period piece "Wind and the Willows". This may not be that interesting to general audiences due to it's dated nature, but if you enjoy classic Disney animation this is still a gem. Fun animation, fun voice acting, overall fun. If given the chance though, I would switch which one of these two got a ride at Disneyland.
Second, we have Fun and Fancy Free. This is definitely the weaker of the double pack. It's two short animated features within a framing device following Jiminy Cricket. It's seems like padding from back when movie theaters were the primary means of media and entertainment. It has no focus or narrative. Amidst Jiminy Cricket antics and a ventriloquist act (yep, live action), there's the story of a fish-out-of-water bear going from circus to wild and Jack and the Beanstalk reenacted with Mickey and the Gang. There both pretty musical, but if you think Wind and the Willows seems uninteresting, than these are a bore.
Finally, there is the bonus features of "The Reluctant Dragon" which is a pretty fun little featurette showing behind the scenes at 50's era disney studios. Overall, only buy this if you are a die-hard disney or classic animation fan.

This set includes "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad," "Fun and Fancy Free," and - as a bonus feature - "The Reluctant Dragon." This is the first time these three films are on Blu-ray, and they look and sound fantastic for their age. While the two main features are undoubtedly Disney classics, it was a nice touch to include the often-overlooked "The Reluctant Dragon," which takes viewers through a tour of the old Walt Disney studio and teaches us how the films were made.
The three films included in this set are a must for any Disney or animation fan. The set's only bonus feature is "The Reluctant Dragon" feature, so it's lacking in any real 'behind the scenes' supplements. However, having an extra film as a bonus feature is a welcome addition and adds a nice value to the set.

These two titles may not be the most known of the Disney titles, but you really can't go wrong for a movie night with popcorn and a Disney movie. Especially if it has Mickey! It's two cute stories in one box! They're classic cartoons that didn't get the hype of movies like Cinderella or The Lion King, but they're still brilliantly created by some of the most talented artists in history. Highly recommend watching this and all the Disney cartoon library!

Disney's digging into the archive!

Disney is finally getting into their archives and releasing some of their classic shorter films on Blu-Ray! This 2-pack is perfect as you get 3 fun Disney animated films plus the extra "The Reluctant Dragon". I hope Disney keeps this trend going for many of their animated films, as they look and sound great on Blu-Ray, and especially in a "two pack", it makes an even better deal.

A triple-feature, actually - tucked away in the Special Features menu is The Reluctant Dragon from 1941. So, you get three features from the 1940's - maybe not Disney's most cherished titles, but there's a lot to love about this blu-ray release. Of the four blu-rays from Walt Disney Animation Studios released in August 2014, this was the one I was most anxious to add to my library.

Growing up these two shorts were awesome! Released during Disney's package film years of the 1940's, this movie tells two classic tales from literature. The Wind In The Willows & Sleepy Hollow. Growing up every halloween the sleepy hollow segment seemed like it was always playing on TV. It's a treat having these two on Blu-Ray to watch anytime I want!

The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad is perfect for anyone who wants great animation. The highlight of the film is the Legend of Sleepy Hallow that is narrated by the fantastic Bing Crosby. Plus, this combo pack comes with an extra film Fun and Fancy Free and the short The Reluctant Dragon. Overall great product and good value.

Childhood nostalgia

The price wasn't exactly great, but being a avid Disney collector, it was well worth it. Watching the remastered versions of these Disney shorts, brought back a lot of childhood memories... without having to squint at a grainy image. This new generation could do with more animation sets like this.

On release week best bang for the buck

On release week this was the best way to get Ichabod due to this package including Fun and Fancy and Reluctant Dragon. While you miss out on the digital copy of Ichabod, the tradeoff for two rather nice little gems of 40's era Disney is worth it. Essentially a three movie combo pack. Worth a pick up for sure

Big improvement on previous releases. Plus a bonus of The Reluctant Dragon previously limited to only a Disney club release. Missing are the shorts included on the "Gold" editions, but you should have these elsewhere if you have the Disney Treasuries Editions. Packaging hub could be better. Not very secure.

I was very pleased to get these movies on blu ray. However, I was disappointed that I had to make a choice of getting the double feature or getting the digital copy of Ichabod & Mr. Toad. By purchasing the double feature, you are basically giving up the digital copy of The Adv. of Ichabod & Mr. Toad.

This double-feature set would be worthwhile even if it only had what is listed - newly restored versions of Fun and Fancy Free and Ichabod and Mr. Toad. However, as a special feature, it has the wonderful The Reluctant Dragon film, which is as good or better than the title features.

Odd that they downplay that the set includes the full length feature The Reluctant Dragon. This film contains 5 cartoons as well as a tour of the Disney animation studios.
You are getting three films for the price of one.
a must buy for all Disney Animation fans

I'm a huge fan of classic Disney. I grew up loving Mr. Toads Wild Ride and this was the movie that the ride was based on. I also love the Mickey and the Beanstalk story in fun and Fancy Free. Plus you get a three for one with the reluctant dragon.

A nice double reissue of the 2 Disney shot features from the mid-40's with the added bonus of the complete Reluctant Dragon with Robert Benchley. However no commentary or other features As of now it's the only way to get them all on Blue Ray.

It's fun to have two old-school Disney films on one DVD...and they both look really great in blu-ray! These older classics really concentrate on storylines and that is a plus... and there is nothing cooler than a classic Mickey Mouse cartoon! :)

I buy blu-ray discs MAINLY for video transfer. The video transfer for both Ichabod and Reluctant Dragon are good.
However, the video transfer for Fun Fancy Free is bad, too soft, too much digital noise reduction,.
The story itself is good.

While this actually includes three features: The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad / The Reluctant Dragon / Fun and Fancy Free.... some DVD extras from previous releases are not on this new blu-ray release. Laziness on Disney's part.
