Very good wrestling game. A bit shallow for match types but thq Nordic has promised updated match types and roster. Some of the graphics are hit or miss. I wish it had more customization for controls. I do find myself playing it more and more. It has a charm that the wwe 2k games lack. Little moments where youll notice attention to detail. If i had to sum it up its a mix of early era wrestling titles for ps2 and psx and a bit of n64 game play. The results are a bit mixed.

I love this game. It’s something different that makes me think of the old THQ WWF games like Smackdown and No Mercy for the N64. I really enjoyed it!!! It's not perfect, but it's a step above the competition, in my opinion. This game is user friendly and easy to play with a deep combat system that's fun for all levels of gamers.

I'm a big fan of the old AKI wrestling games like WCW/NWO Revenge and WWF No Mercy. This games core feels like an updated and improved version of those systems and feels great. That being said, lack of variety is what holds this back. The "create a wrestler" options are very sparse(other than the move set), it lacks a cage match, and the story mode "Road to Elite" feels repetitive too. I'm hoping they keep adding DLC, because that could make the game much better.

The gameplay is fun but there are limited modes and graphics still leave a bit to be desired.. controls are also not intuitive until you play for a while and really get the hang of it. The game will be continuously updated through DLC so expect more game modes and roster additions

Arrived day 1 release day in the mail for my XBOX Series X. Couldn’t be happier. I missed the N64 era of wrestlings games from WCW vs nWo World Tour, WCW Revenge, & of course WWF No Mercy. The game plan controls are great. Of course the roster needs to be updates and its missing modes like cage matches. But I’m sure that will be updated over time. I wish the entrances were optional for full ring and not a couple seconds on the entrance ramp. There’s plenty to nitpick. But alot to love. If you’re an AEW or old school wrestling fan of the N64 era this is for you.

This is just an incredibly fun wrestling game! Aew fight forever his many of your favorite wrestlers from the aew television shows. It is not as polished as a WWE 2K game, but I think the gameplay is better. In some ways it's a real button Masher, and you can have a great time with a group of friends. Super easy to pick up and learn quickly, but some of the moves might be difficult to master if you're trying to learn everything. Lots of mini games, different wrestling modes and there is blood. The road to aew mode is relatively short, but I've been enjoying it and I would recommend the game to anyone who's just looking for a good time. Certainly doesn't have a large story arc.

Definitely has a more arcade feeling to it but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I do dislike how many characters are locked behind paywall/DLC. I also wish entrances were actually shown with music and not just a quick few second scene for everyone. I’d recommend getting it for $20 or less. Still a fun game.

Boom! Let’s go ignite and elevate your life. DYNAMITE!! For a company first game and something that stands to differentiate itself from the same ol’ WWE wrestling games, AEW Fight Forever delivers. Lots of your favorites from the AEW roster, game modes and music make this feel at home for any AEW fan. I definitely recommend this game.

Genuinely, I was excited for this game. My friends and I used to play the old WCW/WWE Yukes games back in the day to the point the controllers were falling apart and loved them. There really hasn’t been a good wrestling game since those days, so I was really excited to hear this game was supposed to be a return to form (with the original developer no less) when they announced it a few years back. As more info and gameplay footage came out I tried to stay optimistic, graphic aren’t everything and it being fun is the most important… Finally arrived this week and there are so many more issues than just the graphics, the biggest being it’s not really fun at all, like even a little. It’s like you can tell there’s SOMETHING hidden in there somewhere that could lead to it being great, but it is absolutely BURIED under a mountain of garbage and issues beyond repair short of recalling the game and dropping it in a landfill E.T. style and starting over with those very few good things. Gameplay is the biggest of these issues. It is sooooo buggy and horribly sluggish. I was in shock that it’s been in development this long and still feels this incomplete, it feels like it was half done and they just pushed it out the door. It’s embarrassing that much time went into it and it’s still that messed up and plays that bad. Even more so given that it’s based off an existing older engine. Collision detection, button lag, animations, freezes, glitches, overall control… just abysmal. It’s honestly shocking that this went out the door. Graphics are a mixed bag between feeling fun next gen for a hot second and then dropping to something along the lines of PS2 quality or worse. Super inconsistent. And the fighter select screens, some of the worst character reps I’ve ever seen, they look nothing like the person. Why not just use real photos of them? Audio is garbage, like no commentary, and the menu music is obnoxiously dumb and gets more annoying each time you hear it. You’ll hear Adam Cole yell in game and then a solid 1-2 seconds later you see the character model do the motion. It’s all sloppy. I’ve heard other people complain about the lack of character creation, and other modes and stuff. I didn’t even make it that far. I tried for 3 or 4 hours just to get into the core game and just could not. Again, I don’t understand how it was in development this long, with such a storied history in terms of developer history and games it was based off, and with such a great company and roster of amazing talent, and it turned out this terrible,,, How are they not embarrassed by this? It makes me embarrassed as a fan of both games and this company.

A good game. Not as indepth as wwe games, but they usually build up from an existing game. A new game starting from scratch, not prefect but a fun game.

Fun to play multi-player but as a single player but the replay value, at the moment is a little thin. The career mode re-hashes storylines from months ago, might have been better to make the storylines random and not necessarily something that was on TV since a lot of the factions aren't even together anymore. There's a some key people missing from the lineup-they have the Acclaimed's music but not the wrestlers- I imagine will be rectified with DLC.
