My kids love animals, especially elephants, hippos, and giraffes in this Blu-ray. Amazing video and wonderful narration. My kids will enjoy these videos for years to come.

If you love shows about animals then AFRICA is a must see movie. This doesn't just retread on information you've heard a thousand times but shows you animals all over Africa in different and amazing ways. There are 3 to 4 episodes on each disc each about the animals from a different region in Africa . You will see Giraffes , Lions , Rhino's , elephants and many more animals in unique ways that you haven't seen. Great for any nature collection and I highly recommend this set of discs.

I own multiple products by BBC Earth - Planet Earth, Life, Frozen Planet, Human Planet, etc. With Africa, BBC Earth has done it again - stunning audio/video quality and narrated by the one and only sir attenborough. Still think Planet Earth and Life provide more bang for your buck, especially when they go on sale, but Africa has been an awesome addition to my BBC Earth collection. Would recommend for nature documentary fans out there.

This is one of the best blu-ray films and top 3 nature documentaries I have ever scene. The film quality is excellent and throughout the two disc set you understand the challenges of filming in Africa and a little behind the scenes look. David Attenburough says he has lived through the greatest advancement in nature filming and this is one of the best he has seen yet. Must buy!!

The bonus segments at the end of each episode are really interesting, and the last disc contains bloopers (as well as interviews). Hilarious and really, the amount of time and effort it takes to film these specials should warrant their own documentaries!

Hilarious and really, the amount of time and effort it takes to film these specials should warrant their own documentaries! (we follow the filmographers and the producers as they battle bugs and weather to frame a shot, the negotiations and help they get from the locals and scientists who live with the animals day-in-and-out, etc)

Truly breathtaking Blu-ray documentary about the trials and tribulations that members of the animal kingdom go through ..this is a film you will never forget ..the visuals are quite simply breathtaking ..I am amazed at how they are able to get the video they do ..I cannot recommend this Blu-ray more highly

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed "AFRICA - Eye to Eye with the Unknown." We always enjoy David Attenborough narrations and he is wonderful in this 2 disc Blu-Ray BBC Earth presentation. Beautiful never before seen camera shots are totally awesome and almost unbelievable! Would highly recommend!

This was another great documentary by BBC. Similar to Planet Earth. My favorite parts are the scenes in which they show how they making each chapter. It shows the immense passion and dedication into making these films. Great for a high def system .

This is a really cool show. My 3 year old loves watching the animals, and I love learning more about Africa. I also like that at the end of each section they show how they got the footage they did. If you're a fan of Planet Earth type of videos then you'll love this.

Produced by BBC Earth (Planet Earth, Life, Frozen Planet, etc.) this one focuses only on Africa, with narration by David Attenborough. Excellent picture and sound quality. Bonus features has behind the scenes on making of each segment.

Saw this documentary on TV but only caught the last 20 or so minutes. Thankfully my local best buy had the whole documentary! Highly suggest to anyone who loves animals or just loves watching informational things!

BBC Earth once again delivers a full immersive experience in this Africa adventure. The imagery and it's quality are even better than their previous hugely successful programs. It's a great addition to my BBC Earth collection!

A brilliant up close look at Africa. The hd at times looks really good. You get alot of bang for you buck on this one. You get two long disks loaded with material. After each segment the film shows you what the crew went through wile filming.

Yo!Ya like nature?got a fancy tv with the blue ray?ba boom!get at this one.ya got the rain forest the deserts and the animals and all that!not to mention ol' David Attenborough over here talkin his A off!with the voice ya grew up with.
