We absolutely love this film (best of all the Thin Man movies, if you ask me), and I've been waiting so long for it to get a good remaster and a proper blu-ray treatment!

If you're a fan of classic Hollywood films, "After the Thin Man" is something you'd probably enjoy. The film has been cleaned up (no effects of the passage of time or damaged prints here), but the film stock can't help but look a bit grainy--since the film was made in the 1930s, when any kind of digital filmmaking was over a generation away. This is the second in the excellent "Thin Man" series of films, which is about an often-drinking detective and his heiress wife solving crimes together with their cute dog (and if that sounds familiar, "Hart to Hart" totally ripped off the premise in the 80s). William Powell and Myrna Loy play Nick and Nora Charles, the couple in question. Also, look for a young Jimmy Stewart in a supporting role.

Another Great Thin Man movie restored to blu-ray, four more to go. Looks like they are putting one out each year, wish they would put more. Nick Charles and his wife are on another case, will they solve this one? Buy this and add to your collection for hours of fun.

This is not the best of the Thin Man series, but still quite enjoyable. On this, the second in the series, Nick is under the infulence most of the time, People in the 1930s must have found this humrous, not so now. Along with Nora, and Asta in the background Nick solves the case, and heads back East. A lovely print in blu ray, amazing for a 1936 movie.

Enjoyable comedy with William Powell and Myrna Loy as Nick & Nora Charles. This is the second film in the series of six. Also starring Jimmy Stewart. I think the films seem to lose a little steam as they progress through the six films but this film still seems quite fun.

Love The Thin Man series. Loy and Powell are a match made in heaven. And, the mystery is a lot of fun.
