When I listened to these at the beSt buy store they sounded unbelievable.. booming bass and crystal clear sound .. I bring this home and we'll it still sounds good n all but the bass was no where near what I expected at bestbuy. I took the 1st set of headphones back to see if it was just.a bad headphones and the 2nd one I got does sound slightly better.. other than bass the sound still is pretty good.. and after 2 hrs of wearing them they are comfy and don't hurt my head wearing them to long.

Cool wired headset that has a great look to it, and even lights up. It has great sound, along with a amplified bass feature you can turn on or off, and is comfortable.

These work great, but if you install the batteries to boost the sound and light up the headset it can feel a bit heavy. I notice that my neck start to hurt because of the weight with the batteries installed. After I took the batteries out it seemed much better. Would recommend them for someone looking for something easy to use at a decent price point.

The Afterglow is my third gaming headset. I am used to Razor products so my expectations are based on them. The mics responce deliver seems very good and I can hear my team very clearly on my end. The volume buttons located on the left ear function well and give a satisfactory sound that is not too distracting to indicate it has been pressed. There is also a mute mic button, mic volume wheel, and a glow power button. The glowing lights up nicely to let my family know I am speaking with others online. The cord is a very nice flat anti-tangal wire that I often forget is even there, which is a good thing because I like the direct connection but do not want to feel connected. As far as comfort goes, I believe I got a headache on the first night of use and almost got one the second night. They are light enough but the ear pads are stiff and do not make room for someone wearing glasses. I guess I got used to them because I haven't had any headaches after the first, but I still don't wear them if I do not have to. Overall, the headset performs well but is not too comfortable. The controls on the left ear is great, compared to my Razor headset (which I use on my pc) that has the controls on the wire and makes it so I have to search down the wire for them. The ear pads could be bigger to make room for larger ears and softer for people who wear glasses.

At first I was debating if I was going to get these headphones, but I'm glad that I made this purchase. After going threw 3 pairs of Sony gold headphones within a year and a half. I was in the loop for which headphones I was going to get. These headphones is light on your head, the clearness is wonderful, and the price for these great headphones is awesome. I recommend these headphones over Sony gold or silver any day.

Awesome sound quality! Love the bass on these.. mic works well, my only complaint is the ear pads r not the most comfortable, my ears get sore after about and hour of use

Love the headphones. In the store, you'll feel the bass rumble in the headphones. That's not necessarily the case in actual gameplay, as I'm sure the demo is created to maximize those frequencies, but they're still very comfortable and sound amazing.

Comfortable and great sounding headset for PS4. Works great online. Seemed to act up when trying to stream on twitch though.

Had to buy this first because of the price, half the sony ones, and now I love them. The sound is incredible clear surround sound can here out all those sounds in the game, (watch out bad guys) and never have to worry about stopping to recharge the battery- they are wired.overall okey product. Flipside- as battery consumer.

What can I say? Really good bang for the buck. They are a wired headset, so that is their only downfall. They sound great without even adding the battery boost.

In the past I've purchased headphones $60 or less that fail to deliver a strong sound, but these headphones deliver. The vibration gives you an immersive feel that I've never experienced before, plus the volume gets pretty loud for those that like playing at that high sound level. The only downside is that if you use them a lot, you're going to have to change the batteries pretty frequently. I keep a pack of AAA's in my desk at all times for this reason. They still work without the batteries but they wont get as loud and they wont vibrate. Also, after a few hours of gaming my ears will get sore from the earmuffs, but i have somewhat big ears. But great headphones, I definitely recomend as long as you don't mind changing out the batteries.

Great for the price. Can wear for longer gaming sessions, mic works well, game sounds nice. I returned because they are on ear headphones and they don't seal the outside noise out very well.

My family and I decided to take a random trip to the local BB while we were out to dinner one night to look at speakers for our entertainment system. I had some money to waste and while looking at games, decided i should finally buy a headset so I could stop using my ear buds in parties. I knew nothing about these, but tried them out in store and I was really excited about how good they sounded. Not only that, but THEY VIBRATE!!!! Now, the haptic feedback picks up the best with very bassy situations, so not all games get it going (lol) but you can also use these as regular headphones. I like to use them with my phone as I have my daith (ear) pierced and ear buds make it angry, so over the ear is great! All in all, a very satisfying purchase.

My real problem with using these (especially with a VR headset) is that the volume/mute controls are not easy for me to find/use when I'm in-game. The sound is fine, no problems with them so far, but when I try to adjust the settings while playing, I end up taking off the VR headset, taking off the earphones, so I can see again WHERE the different controls are located. Just hard for me to find by "blind feel".

No complains from this pair of headsets for the price. I highly recommend getting a pair, especially if you're more of the casual gamer.

Gave it to a friend and she has been using it when streaming on her ps4. It's clear and works really well. Only downside is when the batteries die it does lose some function. What I read before purchasing made it sound like it should only affect the lights but she loses volume control when the batteries are dead.

Great price , the only thing I didint like was that there are small on the ear and someone hurt , because there are to thigh .
