I was skeptical when I ordered this product since it does not go directly into the ear. It comes with an earplug to drown out outside noise if you need to. I used it while mowing my lawn. I could barely hear the mower. Sound quality of the headset was awesome.

These headphones are the future. The sound is inside of your Skull! I love that i can still hear the environment around me. They come with ear plugs but honestly ive never used them. If you want to escape from the outside world than you want noise cancelling headphones. These are great if you want to run and hear whats going on around you. Or if you work somewhere that you can just tune everyone around you out. Sound quality isnt the BEST and at times the outside environment drowns out what you are listening to. I find them really useful when im on the phone. I can hear the person without any issues.

My ears are too small, so regular ear buds JUST DON'T WORK! These are AWESOME! because they don't go in your ears, They don't fall OUT! Easy to pair, too. Feel a bit funny as they buzz a bit, but I'm a bit hard of hearing, so I have them turned up. Bone conduction is COOL! I can wear them running, or working. Super.

Way better than the previous version. We had to return the other ones because my husband said that they were too tight above the ear area and he was getting headaches and after having them on all day. These aren't as bulky and tight...lighter and still easy to use.

Sounds, especially bass tend to distort at higher volumes so I have to put in the ear plugs to reduce volume to remove distortion. The reason for buying these is to be able to hear the surroundings but having to put in ear plugs removes the benefit these are supposed to provide. Otherwise, they are nice.

I really love these headphones! They are extremely light and fashionable. I really like the color. I dont like things in my ears as they are quite sensitive, so these which lay along side the ear and not in them are Fantastic. I would recommend to anyone! Jon Millum

I had the Trex Titanium by After Shokz prior to the Trex Air by After Shokz. I actually prefer the Titanium because they're a little bit of a tighter fit than the Air other than that, I Love em both, the battery lasts all day (listening to music apx 7-8 hours)

If you tend to be in quiet places then these are a great device to hear the outside world and your music but if you have to crank the volume to max then be prepared for a tiny vibration on your temples that tickles and itches. I tried a road trip in a camper van driving while listening to a podcast and I couldn't hardly understand the narrator's voice on max volume while driving down the road. If you toss a beanie on your head that applies more pressure to your temples then it helps but isn't practical. Works if you are just looking for background noise but not really worried about hearing anything in great detail but in the end I would pass. I ended up returning for something that went in the ear.

Battery lasts a long time. Used for music and calls and had to charge once in three days. Sound quality is ok in quiet environment but not so when the background noise is loud.

I've worked in the pool industry for over 25 years and I work alone almost exclusively so auditory entertainment is essential. I've used practically every kind of headphones ever and these are by far the best I have ever used. I got my first set of aftershokz over three years ago but recently upgraded to the airs due to the more streamlined design of the air's (my trek titaniums by aftershokz still work fine). I am able to listen to my music or whatever and can still hear if someone is trying to get my attention or use the earplugs included and go completely noise cancelling. These are so lightweight and comfortable you will forget you have them on when you're not actually listening to something. I would have to say that these are by far the best headphone/hands free device I've ever had and I've had them all.

I was looking for headphones that would allow me to cycle and run in an urban environment and still be able to hear traffic and other noise - the Aftershokz do not disappoint. Sound is not as crisp as in-ear pods, but I am very satisfied.

Works great in conjunction with my over the ear hearing aids. Can still hear my iPhone calls thru my hearing aids and outside noise, but the ear conduction works well as an adiunct music source.Wire

This technology is never going to match the actual audio quality of over-ear or in-ear headphones, but audio quality isn't their selling point. These are amazing workout/running headphones that allow you to still hear your surroundings. They are also great for around the office.

These are great, sound quality is probally not as good as some of the higher end (and priced) headphones on the market, however for the comfort and versatility of these you can't beat them and I will NEVER go back to regular headphones ever again!

This was a gift for my wife, I never even heard of these headphones. I thought if it wasn't in your ear they would sound terrible, but to my surprise they sound really good, add the ear plugs that come with them and they sound even better.

The best way to listen to audio books. I can work at the same time because nothing is in my ears. For safety reasons, I still need to hear. This is my 4th pair in 5 years. but I have them on 12 to 14 hours everyday!

I use it everyday for work in the kitchen, even with the exhaust fan on I still can listen to my music. Very comfortable, long battery and great quality material. The down side a bit pricey and very short distance, which is ok for me since I always have my phone in my pocket.

When I go out for a jog or run, I feel safe. I can hear my music and also my surroundings. Before, I had only one side of my ear buds, because I wanted to hear my music and what’s going around me. This solved my problem. I recommend this to anyone!
