Airplane's giggles start from the beginning when an airplane teases the shark from Jaws, accompanied with the Jaws theme song. Then, comes along all the gags and strange humor. I think this is funny because the movie links our feelings about airplanes. Airplane 2, however, is a letdown; it doesn't just repeat much of the first film's humor, but it never knows whether it's about a spaceship. It's all jokes and gags. It's pretty much Airplane in space, which isn't really integral to the story.

The original Airplane! is one of the funniest movies EVER made. The sequel isn't as good as the first movie, but, does a respectable job (which is a shock because the original writers/directors weren't involved in the sequel). As far as video quality goes, it's not going to look like the latest blockbuster, but it's good for what it is. Special features are only available for the first film (commentary, trivia track, trailer and the "long haul version").

"Airplane!" is a classic. It's funny now as it was in 1980. No questions about it. The Blu-ray version is quite nice, same extras we had on the DVD, but always welcomed and enjoyable. "Airplane II" is less biting and shows a little more of its age, but it's still an above the average comedy (especially if compared to the awful "[Blank] Movie" of these days. Overall, an excellent disc.

"Airplane's" a classic, no doubt. But surprisingly "Airplane 2" comes off a lot better now. Sure, a lot of the jokes and similar, but compared to recent spoof movies, it's surprisingly funny even though it's gags haven't aged as well as the ones in the first one

When I was younger, my mother and I went to see Airplane and its sequel. The first movie was a riot. It was one zinger after another. The sequel was a good time, too. It's great to see these movies again after all these years, especially in high definition.

Let's face it. These movies are silly and a bit stupid. They're also hilarious, partially because absolutely no attempt is made to take the concept seriously. If you love the 70s slapstick parody these are ideal movies and for a nice, cheap price too.

These movies are really funny, made at a time when the spoof genre was enjoyable and fresh. the blu ray quality for both films is really good and worth the upgrade from dvd but its light on special features. overall a good double feature.

Many modern comedies can't hold up to many of the greats from the late 70s to early 90s. These often quotable classics are a must for anyone who loves comedy. What can I say other than that? If you've seen it, you probably love it.

These are two of the best comedies of the '80s. Well, the first one anyway. This was cheaper than buying either film on its own and even cheaper than Amazon! Great movies, nice transfers and funny extras on the first Airplane.

Hilarious, old-school comedy classics. Robert Hays and Julie Hagerty are perfect as the leads, and the supporting cast of older actors (Leslie Nielsen, Peter Graves, Lloyd Briidges, et al.) are terrific.

Voted "one of the ten funniest movies ever made" by the American Film Institute! You can't go wrong with getting two funny movies and saving money at the same time. If you like Leslie Nielsen this is one of his all time BEST!

The movie Airplene comes with commentary of the directors explaining about the movie. And I watched both of Airplane and Airplane 2. They came out perfect. A great classic film for everyone to see.

Admittedly, I would not by Airplane 2 as a standalone movie, but since it was packaged with one of the most classic comedies of all time, Airplane!, I had no problem making the purchase.

Okay airplanes were just absolutely hilarious and well done! They will have your Roline the entire way through... And if you have never seen a grown man naked in the shower it is a must watch!

Airplane! is the better of the of the two movies, but both are funny. For some viewers the movies are an acquired taste, but most people can find something to laugh at in each.

The first movie is one of the most quotable movies of all time and it makes fun of almost everything. It is very enjoyable to watch and you can laugh at it hundreds of times.

Really enjoyed both movies. I would really recommend this movie to anyone that likes to laugh. I watched this movie every time I feel a little down. You'll love it like I do

Hillarious 2 film set! When these first came out years ago, it was a nice surprise to see that both Leslie Nielsen & William Shatner could be so funny! Recommend!

Both of these movies are classics from when I was growing up. Still very funny. Both movies still hold up today. They don't make spoof movies like these anymore.

One great movie (Airplane!) and one okay movie (Airplane II) at a great price....Can watch this over and over again. What's not to love?!
