I’ve been using the sling app for about six months already,I purchased this because I would be able to integrate my OTA channels , worked out well. The only problem is your kind of on your own,not much information out there my , OTA channels did not populate Guide information , I remembered during the set up I used my ZIP Code ,I live between Chicago and Milwaukee ,my ZIP Code does not populate the guide , I went back in to set up and entered a Milwaukee ZIP Code The Milwaukee information showed , but not the Chicago , I get 60 channels and half of them come from Chicago so it would be nice to be able to enter two ZIP Codes I’m sure there are more people with this issue ,so it would be nice to be able to enter two ZIP Codes maybe they will fix this guess I shouldn’t be complaining getting 60 over the air channels though still a nice product I will be buying a second one,

Do not waste money on this streamer. It's a joke and freezes all the time when watching content. Had just a roku express before and works way better and rarely will skip when watching something. I will stick with roku and a brand who can back there name up.

Unless i have a Lemon of a product ..how can people here give 5 stars ? ? I cant go threw a night without problems of one way or another. glitches

Since using this from the beginning I have had issues. Constant Sling crashing, maybe 8 times a day or more, I'm not exaggerating. Many times I want to start a channel and it won't start so I have to hit "back" then go back in and it starts. Sometimes it won't start until I restart the AirTV. There doesn't seem to be a way to shutdown Sling and restart it vs the entire box. If I start YouTube then Netflix then it will restart Sling. When you scan all the channels they end up being mislabeled. When I asked about it they said they haven't worked that out yet. Every time I've called to ask about issues the rep seems to pretend they haven't heard of any issues and has no idea what I'm talking about. It would have 1 star if the design wasn't good. You'd think they can just have an update to fix these issues. Maybe I have a lemon.

Wow! Love this product. I use Sling tv. Cut the cord! Pause and record local OTA channels with adding a portable hard drive ($60 and use recommended drive). Seamless interface. Purchase a great OTA antenna (I spent $80) and install in attic if needed to get all local channels (it will be worth it). Make sure internet service is fast enough (I use 100mb and no problems). Only negative is while recording a local OTA you can't watch or record another OTA. (but you still have all the sling channels to watch or record at the same time). It is worth that one drawback to save big bucks. I'm saving $70 a month compared to my other provider.

Having same issues as others. Already sent 1 back. Constantly freezes and has to be unplugged. Buffers as well. Keep getting messages about it losing internet connection. I have a new router and the fastest speed and no issues with other devices. I checked and it has the latest update. They make you return the player before they send a new one. They "lost" my return for several days. Was 2 weeks without TV. Wouldn't credit Sling for outage.

I've been using the AirTV for about a year now. Sling has provided multiple updates that makes this an intriguing device for cord cutters. It is Android based and has proved reliable and fast. The DVR capabilities for local and Internet channels is fantastic. Navigation is simple. One of the best is Bluetooth connectivity for headphones - works great!

I have to clear cache, restart, turn off / on almost every day. Their customer service is "Clear Cache, Restart". Do more research and buy something else. I'm seriously thinking of Nvidia Shield.

Integrates local over the air channels with Sling channels seamlessly and can even use Sling's OTA DVR for recording over the air channels if you plug in a USB storage device.

Product does not work as advertised. They admit it does not work with Roku and Sling. They said they are working out the bugs. They will not allow you to wait for them to fix the bugs, they make you return it as if you keep it over 30 days while they try to make it work, you are stuck with it. If they could get it to work, I would keep it. They are forcing me to return it and get another competitor's product since they don't have their product working as advertised. Seems like poor customer service. You would think they would be lenient in the return policy when they know the product does not work as advertised and people are trying to stick with their product.

I love it.sling+OTA dvr.I get 44 locale channels.It works great i wish i did this a long time ago.

useless for me as spectrum is my provider and I use their app to watch tv rather than cable. This airtv player can not load the spectrum app so it is useless for me. Got a roku player for a fraction of the price and will hook my antenna directly into the tv itself. and yes roku loads spectrum app no problem

Bought this to stream my OTA channels. It won't connect to the android app. Talked to customer service and the told me and they were no help. Basically garbage
