Fantastic mic for the home recording enthusiast.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was amazed at how well this mic picked up everything, I could hear me feet shuffle on the carpet when I first plugged it in listening through headphones. Very rugged and durable design, no worries about "cheapness" here. Just remember, your mic is only as good as your preamps. I use a SoundCraft 12 channel mixing board, those preamps compliment this mic very well. I even stuck it in front of my Marshall cabinet and recorded guitar tracks with it. Very happy with this mic, highly suggest it. Nice work AKG.
