What else can I say, this move is one of the bests of the best animated films out there.

In the best way possible. I bought this only because the cover looked awesome. Thinking it was a story about racing. Nope, what I got was a weird super human story way ahead of it's time. The social commentary in the back ground gives this world such life without being distracting. Recommended for anime, superhero twists and cyber punk fans alike.

One of the greatest anime of all time and Best Buy had it at a great price i could not pass up

This is definitely one of the better steelbook, the titles and motorcycle is embossed. It comes with 3 nicely distinct color discs along with a thick booklet explaining the individual characters and general lore of the movie. It looks fantastic in HD, I can say it was meant to be seen this way.

With physical media slowly disappearing I highly recommend buying this classic and others before there gone.

Great movie to have on disc. Good price for multiple versions. Buyer beware: doesn't work with PS4 Pro since it's 4K blu-ray not regular blu-ray.

Akira is one of my favorite anime films of all time. When I saw Best Buy has a steelbook for it, I had to get it. What a great decision it was because it’s absolutely beautiful! The embossing is amazing! The texture of the motorcycle is amazing! Easily one of my favorite steelbook that I own!

Classic anime masterpiece! This has to be the film that inspired my lifelong love of the genre.

This steelbook case is awesome i love the slight 3D effect on the front the movie qas my best friends very first anime and its what got him into it all great movie would definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen any before a great start to the whole franchise

Looks great in HDR. The movie is pretty interesting and holds up quite well.

This movie set the standard for what an animated film can look like and how realistic it can feel. The quality is impeccable and looked great on my 4K HDR TV. This movie is a keeper, so I highly recommend you get it in a format that will last.

An incredible anime movie, which looks great, excellent action scenes and the animation is incredible.

I loved the manga, saw the film in an art house theatre back in the day. Now that i have kids who are into anime, i've been telling them about Akira for years, and was delighted to watch it with them. Note: This is basically a rated R movie.

The case has some pretty neat details like how the tire marks have a cool texture. If you are a fan of the manga and movie then this is a definitely something to add to your collection. The art work on the inside looks good.
