Such a great chair. Even though it is labeled an xxl, it is not really bigger than any other but it is very heavy duty! Just the wheels and base alone show how durable it is. The matterial looks like it will wear well without peeling like others brands. Directions were very confusing but we looked up a video and was rather easy after it got us started. It rolls great on the carpet. All the levers do as discribed. The only downfall we found was with the arm rests. They go up & down and lock. They slide back & forth and lock but they also swivel and dont lock. Hard to discribe but due to the durability and quality of the chair this little thing can simply be over looked. Comes with a 5 year parts and labor warranty, hoping we never have to use. Recommend

    BIG and TALL chair

The quality of this chair is top notch. The over all build of the chair is solid and the wheels are a dream sliding on hardwood flooring. The PU leather fells breathable and comfortable. Being 6'3 280 this chair fits great. In some seating positions my feet cant touch the ground, haven't been able to say that in a while. The overall test will be with durability over time. Would highly recommend this chair to anyone looking for big and tall. The Rock and Lock allows for the perfect seat angle, and the 180 back rest tilt offers the perfect seating set up. Would highly recommend this chair to anyone looking for big and tall.

This gaming chair is awesome. Im a pretty big guy 6'6 340lbs and this chair fits me very well. Extra sturdy, nice and wide, comfortable, rolls well. I have had other cheaper gaming chairs that felt cheap, and fell apart quickly. This chair is rock solid, and much cheaper than some of the other big name chair brands that are built for big and tall. It is a true high back chair and fully supports my 6'6 frame. It looks great, sits comfortably, and it very sturdy. Assembly is pretty straightforward but I would recommend having a extra pair of hands to keep holes lined up when bolting on the arms and base piece. Very happy with this purchase.

    BEST DESK CHAIR EVER!

This is literally the best chair I've ever owned! I've been looking for the right big & tall chair for a few years now. This is the first big & tall chair I've ever purchased and I hit the jackpot! I've usually owned and purchased average chairs from local stores (~ $200 chairs from Costco, BJ's, Staples, etc. I've had to return them all). The quality on this "AK MAX" literally blows everything I've ever owned away! AK seems to have many different models. This only applies to the MAX. (If their other chairs are anything as great as this chair, then they must be good.) As a big guy, I highly recommend this to all of the big guys out there that have been looking for a "big & tall" heavy duty desk chair. The seat is extra wide, super comfortable, high-density foam seat, and a really nice synthetic PU leather (seat & back). The back is extra wide and incredibly comfortable. The lumbar pillow feel amazing. The small head rest pillow is nice. The metal base and wheels look pretty good quality. The armrests are amazing. The tilt is awesome. The assembly was easy and straight forward. Installing the 4 screws on the back took me a long time. Having another person to hold the back steady, with the holes aligned, would help cut install time by a LOT. I lucked out at got it on sale for $329. I see it's not back yup to $519 -- wow! But this chair is even worth the $570, as long as it lasts at least 5 or so years. I'll be back to update the review after some time has passed to see how it holds up to extended use.

It broke just over a year after we bought it. Like, catastrophically broke. The metal holding the chair to the base snapped in two.

I'm 6'5 400lbs and found this chair doing research for big and tall gaming chairs. I bought the chair while it was on sale from best buy. I was skeptical about spending so much on a computer chair as I didn't use it often. I love this chair, Now I use it about 2-4 hours a day, I didn't realize how bad my old chair was. The ak max is very comfortable and I don't mind sitting in it for extended periods of time. Seems pretty durable so far. Assembly was easy and straight forward. Like the wheel/caster size but I bought a Plexiglass chair mat to keep the wheels from getting stuck in the carpet.

I bought this chair since it looks like I am working from home for the foreseeable future and my old one was killing me. I am pleased with it. It’s very solid and it is easy to adjust, and it took less than an hour to put together. The seat is firm and comfortable, and I was skeptical about the pillows but they are great. I am a, ahem, LARGE lady, and I was concerned about the fit, but it is perfect all around and now my back doesn’t hurt at the end of the day. Also I love purple. My only issue is with the arm rests. I like that they adjust so many ways, but the pad itself has an adjustable angle so it can turn in, out, or straight ahead, and it’s the only thing that doesn’t lock in place. If you put any weight on the arm at all, like to scoot closer to your desk, it will shift under your hand. It’s certainly not a deal breaker, at least to me, but it gets annoying.

Chair is comfortable and has plenty of space. It does not provide 90 degree backsupport like the previous smaller version i ordered but other than that it is a perfect chair.

I am a big guy and struggled to find a great gaming chair, but this fits the bill. No problem holding me and my 40 pound puppy and not tipping over. Very sturdy, I hit 350 pounds and it holds me well. I disliked the wheels and upgraded them, they did not like the rough floor but would have been fine on a smoother surface.

Really great gaming chair. Comfortable and easily adjustable for height, width, angle of arm rest, and amount of recline. I’m a big and tall guy and this chair fits me perfect and is quality built. If it had where I could attach my HOTAS stick and throttle for DCS I would never stop playing.

I've had this chair for a little over 2 years now. I work from home and this gets at least 8-9 hours of sweet booty rest. The material of the chair has held up extremely well. If you sit for hours on end then I would definitely recommend spending the extra bucks to sit in something that is quality and comforble.

Very nice gaming/lounging chair. Fairly simple to build and Is good quality. Very comfortable and highly adjustable to get an exact fit/layout. Heavy weight friendly, it seated my 6'1 300lb brother no prob. I'm 6'4 200 and it fits length wise as well. It is a bit pricey tho, to pricey in my opinion.

Okay folks. I had originally spent $280 on the Gamdias E1 chair. First racing style, expensive chair I had ever bought. I loved it. Thought it was great. Four weeks in the gas lift went out and I started noticing that the racing style bucket seat with the wings up on the edges with incredibly frustrating. Forced me to sit with my legs basically closed in an uncomfortable position. So I brought it back and ordered this $500 chair. Immediately I had buyer's remorse. How can I spend this much on a chair of all things?? But then it finally arrived. I unboxed it and assembled it. My goodness what a difference this chair was. Sturdy, well crafted materials. DUMB THICC cushioning on the seat. A FLAT SEAT. Just that alone is an incredible feat since so many chairs want to squeeze you as if you're doing 200mph while at your desk. This chair is ridiculous. If you can afford it, and want a huge, comfy chair. This is it. Just don't think about it too much. Yes it's money. But, c'mon. Treat yourself. I'm 6'3" and 220lbs and I can swing my legs from this chair like I'm a toddler in a high chair. 10/10 A2B Gaming

I tried a couple of different gaming chairs and this one was to go for me. The other seats have wings and you’re kind of locked into place so if you sit for a while you can really open your legs or sit on a leg to kind of change sitting positions. The seat on the Max is flat so you have a lot more room to sit, stretch and move around. The backrest reclines a full 180 if needed, and you can also rock then seat itself back to find a the perfect seating position for yourself. I work 8 hour shifts at home so I’m on it all day and it’s still comfortable enough to game in after. I was using a regular kitchen chair to work in before and my back is really thanking me for making this purchase, it is a little pricey but if you are spending a lot of time at home like me, it’s worth it! It was easy to set up and put together, all the materials are great quality and it has a great warranty!
