Simply stated, the original was fantastic. This treatment kept my attention throughout, though it often struggled with hyperactivity and anemia at the same time. Color, sound and soundtrack were all excellent, and the 4K picture was great... especially because it didn’t suffer from the tinting. Normal colors, what a concept! Take note Hollywood. Solid entertainment that the whole family will enjoy.

Love this movie! There was a bit more singing than I expected but the movie was great! So close to the original Disney version with Robin Williams. Will Smith is one of my favorite actors. I don't think anyone else could have played the part better.

I grew up on the cartoon movie, but I actually prefer this movie over the original. My wife is the opposite. Both are good, but this one edged out the original. Enjoyed it in the theater and enjoyed last night at home. Glad we added to our collection.

I bought the movie for the kids, when they started playing it one of them asked for some potato chips. I when handled them the bag I started to watch the movie too . I sat down and really enjoyed the movie I sure your whole family will enjoy it too.

I have to be honest, I was not sure about this with Will Smith. I was sooooo surprised how good he was. He created a Genie that was every bit his own take of the character. Robin Williams will always be my favorite, but Will has come a close second.

When I heard there was a live action version of Aladdin coming to theaters I was mildly interested. Shortly after it hit the theaters I actually decided Not to go see it. I wanted to go see it in 3D. It was available in 3D at my local theatre, but demand for the movie was too high the first week so I decided to wait until week 2. Week 2 came along and it was no longer available in 3D. So I didn’t see it. I had a $20 coupon I had to use before it expired and there was nothing I wanted but this DVD came out for about $22, so I bought it. The movie is ok. Will Smith as the Genie did right by Robin Williams; who played the character in the animated version. The animated Aladdin is much better though. I’ll recommend seeing the movie to anyone who hasn’t seen the animated one. But I was so close to tuning out. There were new songs I think, but they weren’t anything to remember. The acting of the supporting cast was lame. The Sultan acted like a fool; I wouldn’t expect it from live action. The Aladdin actor was good but not great. Perhaps I expected more than what I got, even though I only got the movie on a whim.

I’m a fan of the original and was a little skeptical of the remake, but I ended enjoying it quite a bit. There are parts of the original I like better, but as a whole this a nice version. Looks great and most importantly my kids really like it.

Entertaining. Very Disney if you know what I mean. I do miss Robin William's as the Geanie but Will Smith gave it a little hip hop twist. Not really my cup of tea for this type of film... but ok! Jafar on the other hand I was hoping for a more sinister looking deep voice character... but we cant win em all. The steelbook adds to my nice collection. Cant go wrong with steelbook case.

I loved Aladdin as kid growing up. I really was excited to see a remake. While it was a good movie and will Smith does a good job in the role of the genie, he’s not robin williams. Robin made the original what it was. So, good not great.

Aladdin is a fun adventurous journey, with its own flavor. Robin Williams would be proud of what Will Smith did in this remake. The 4k picture is incredible as the colors really pop out of the screen. I definently reccomend buying Aladdin.

Aladdin is brought to life in this newest Disney film. The cast is incredible. Smith does the Genie right and pays homage to Robin Williams perfectly. The CGI and special effects dazzle and are out of this world. Great for the whole family!

Original Aladdin was an animated classic. So when this one came to theaters I was skeptical. However, after watching it my family and I were instantly hooked, and I knew I'd be adding it to my personal collection when it came out on disc.

There are many similarities to the 1992 Animated hit, but more than enough differences to make this movie stand apart. I enjoyed it and my nieces have watched it so many times, they might come close to wearing out the digital copy, lol!

Love this movie! I'm a huge fan of the original movie! Not as good as the original movie, but still very enjoyable to watch! Will Smith did a great job playing the Genie, even though Robin Williams nailed the role in the cartoon version.

This Aladdin live adaptation of the animated Disney Classic is fantastic fun for the family. It is well well made with great visual effects. The singing is great and emotionally heartwarming. Will Smith as the genie is hilarious.

The story of this live action movie doesn't deviate too much from the animated version. However, Will Smith is not Robin Williams, and Disney had to compensate somehow. With that said, they couldn't have gotten someone with more charisma to fill the blue guy's shoes. If you are into collecting movies, you might as well get the steelbook exclusive, it is worth the upcharge.

Saw this in theaters on a 70 ft screen and enjoyed all the way through so decide to purchase with a gift card i had along with this I as well pre order the lion king (2019) on 4k

A lot of times when an animated feature is redone as a live movie it's rather disappointing. Not in this case and in some respects a lot better. Very watchable multiple times. If your old enough to remember the original animated feature, you'll probably notice that some lyrics to the songs have been changed, but it doesn't really take away anything. Very enjoyable.

The movie was true to its animated version. Will Smith as Genie was crafty and charismatic. The whole cast collectively captured quality humanized character development, appropriate humor, and musical flavor. Great family movie!

So admittedly this is my first time fully seeing Aladdin. As a kid i saw bits and pieces but never the full movie. My GF loves aladdin and i bought it for her because she never went to see it in theatres. I still havent watched the original but this was still a fun watch and would recomend to anyone into musicals or familys looking for a fun watch for movie night.
