I bought this phone for my mother who is partially deaf. She is able to see and dial the numbers and to hear the person talking on the phone. The downside to the phone is that the ring is too soft so she doesn't hear it unless someone is with her. I'm giving the phone a rating of 5 stars since she would need a megaphone to hear the phone ring, but even I had some difficulty hearing it.
She's been using it for a month now and so far so good. I will try to remember to update this review after she has used it longer.

It was extremely difficult to add entries to the directory. They could only be added in first name / last name format. What about business names? Could not be done. Displaying the directory in sorted sequence made no sense.
The phone had a very noticeable lag when typing on the keypad. I needed to slow myself down to keep from getting ahead of the phone’s ability to keep up with my keystrokes.
Numbers and characters displayed on the screen are HUGE, almost cartoonishly so. The keys have a definite click feel that requires heavy pressure to operate.
I found this phone unusable and returned it the day after purchase.

After activation we learn that there is only two bars for the signal, which is not enough. The coverage map shows entirely different picture! If there has been a good signal, we would have kept the phone as there is only 2 or 3 flip phones available.
