MGM has released a three disc set containing three of Alfred Hitchcock's most seminal works from the forties. Rebecca featuring the debonair Laurence Olivier, Spellbound a psychological classic with Ingrid Bergman as a psychoanalyst unraveling a murder mystery with Gregory Peck, and my personal favorite of the collection Notorious which also starts Bergman in a spy thriller classic with Cary Grant and the ever charming Claude Rains. While the transfers and sound mixes aren't perfect they are fairly strong due to extensive restoration work and each film contains extensive extras. Highly recommended for Hitchcock fans.

Great way to get a few of his early American films for your collection. More than worth the $20 that it will go on sale for at Best Buy. It would be nice if the movie rights holders would get together an release a comprehensive collection as nice as the UK limited version of the "Masterpiece Collection." It would have been nice if MGM had put together a box set of all that they have the rights to release. There isn't a really good modern transfer of Mr. & Mrs. Smith or Under Capricorn available and it would make more sense to leave Rebecca as a combo pack with Suspicion (Joan Fontaine and Hitchcock, both winning Oscars) and then add in Under Capricorn to this three pack. That way all the Ingrid Bergman/Hitchcock movies are together and Under Capricorn gets released on Blu Ray.

Needed a fun gift for someone for the office Secret Santa and this definitely fit the bill. So glad she hasn't seen these specific movies so she is definitely going to enjoy them. Holiday pricing was awesome! BB is definitely here to stay if they can keep fighting online retailers with its pricing. Sure I could have gone to Amazon or some place online but having the option to buy at a local store is great. Thanks!

Hitchcock needs no introduction and this boxset presents three of his earlier classics in high definition including his 1940 best picture winner Rebecca. Also included is the flawed albeit compelling Spellbound which features a wonderfully surreal dream sequence constructed by Salvador Dali and, my personal favorite from this collection, the espionage classic Notorious. Each transfer is crisp and clean though the softness of these films doesn't exactly make them go to discs to show off you home theater. Special features can be a bit on the light side but what is on each of these discs is compelling. Best of all this collection does go on sale for $20 or less making it a great deal.

Hitchcock is at his best with these 3 classics. Notorious is a gripping story of love, betrayal, spies. Spellbound is a psychological thriller with one of the best dream sequences in movies. Rebecca is the final movie. An obsessed housekeeper who lives in the past. She's a little crazy. Each film has a unbelievable cast.

What's not to like? You get three classic Hitchcock films on Blu-ray. Rebecca, Spellbound, and Notorious! All classic Hitchcock, all great stories with great actors. Truly a must have set for any Hitchcock fan.

Three decent Hitchcock classics on blu-ray for $14.99 is well beyond just a bargain: it's a steal at twice the price. All three movies are entertaining if, like me, you enjoy old-fashioned thrillers. Cary Grant, Gregory Peck, Laurence Olivier, Ingrid Bergman and more, plus the usual Hitchcock fun & games. Highly recommended.

This Hitchcock collection includes Rebecca and Notorious which for someone who does not watch old movies, really enjoyed both of them.

I am a huge Hitchcock fan and am very excited to see many of the film collections being formatted in BluRay.

I'm enjoying the viewing of my favorite suspense films, by a master director. 3 movies on one DVD, such a great purchase.

Classic Hitchcock. Three of his better early movies. Great actors and wonderful direction.

For 14.99 on sale it includes: Notorious, Rebeca and Spellbound. Can't beat it! Classics!
