movie is ok, just not as good as previous alien movies

All the Alien movies are becoming redundant. We have been here before with the same creatures, very similar story lines, just different actors. Not scary because the territory is so familiar. Bought it to see what was up with it, but there was nothing.

My opinion about this movie is low to average, I don't recommend to buy, rent maybe. Plot was not good and the special effects is questionable. The reason is; most of the movie is dark (I suspect the reason for this is because of the bad special effects)

I was looking for more alien action than received. I saw it in theaters and was not impressed. I figured I would give it another go because of price and the fact it was on 4k. I'm still not a fan , I think you should red box it first before purchase.

Movie is ok. I like the Alien series. This is another addition to it. It is tolerable. There is a point in which the movie producers need to say ok we have made enough and we are running out of decent scripts. I will not watch the next one.

What the heck did I watch? I bought this movie (in 4K specifically) because I love space movies; and because I thought I would get a better movie than the first (of the newer) one. Wrong! It was much worse. I had hoped Noomi Rapace would continue her journey, but nope; instead we got a rag-tag bunch of bit-player actors...and Michael Fassbender who seemed bored in every scene he was in. On top of that, the move was just a mess from a story line perspective. I disliked the movie so much, I didn't want to review it because it was that dull. But maybe my comments will spare someone else $30+ or less...sigh. NEXT!

Time has passed but apparently not enough to correct the faults of it's predecessor. Crew characters were nothing special and made all the horror movie mistakes on cue. A watchable movie but I should have rented it first.
