A decent Alien/ Ridley Scott movie. Looks a lot better in in 4K than blu ray release. Worth an upgrade if you're a fan of the movie.

If you appreciated the original Alien directed by Ridley Scott and the recent Prometheus movie, you will love this. great pickup from Prometheus, continuing the alien story and saga. why they called it alien covenant is beyond me, granted it sounds better than Prometheus 2. Ridley def knows his Syfy and glad to see him back in action on Alien movies. highly recommend if you are an Alien movie fan

"Alien Covenant" was a suspenseful scifi movie with a good picture and plenty of action. Where it was lacking was the reasoning behind the plot and therefore i thought the ending was vague. There needed to be a little more explanation to the android's purpose. Otherwise it was an enjoyable film.

4k is nice increase in sharpness over the 1080p blu-ray. There are a few Atmos scenes where the increased immersion and dynamic range of the sound is noticable, but this is NOT a demo worthy flick. Only bought the 4k as the Steelbook was the same price as the 1080p Blu-ray.

Looks fantastic in 4K HDR on a big screen. Can't wait for the next installment. My only minor complaint is that for some reason the digital copy for this movie was only 1080P. Every other 4k movie with digital copy has given me 4k. I'm not sure why this one was different.

A very good movie that brings back old characters. Good suspense and action scenes.

I have collected all of the Alien and Predator movies since the start. Although I did not like Alien: Promethus, I am glad I purchased Covenant. This takes us back to the action packed series starring Sigourney Weaver. Outstanding visuals on this blu-ray disc. Enjoy!

PROS: Better/Sharper picture quality CONS: None to note I purchased this disc as an addition to my 1080P Blu-ray version for comparison on my equipment. Was it worth it? Yes, however not at the current $30 retail pricing. I'll be very judicious about which discs I purchase (or update) in the 4K format, but they look so good especially with HDR.

I give the film itself 3 stars. It definitely was not the sequel to Prometheus that I was hoping for. On the other hand, the 4k audio and video is outstanding. Steelbook cover art isn't the greatest, but still makes for a nice collectable.

This movie did not make a whole lot of sense but it was pretty entertaining. Did not quite fit what went on with the other Alien movies. Was supposed to be a prelude to the others. But like I said before, didn't make a whole lot of sense.

The Alien Franchise pushes forward with another great film. Prometheus is my personal favorite and this didn't disappoint either. I was a bit skeptical when it first came out. Seeing McBride in a starring role of this sort was weird to me but it turned out great! if your a fan definitely pick this up. It looks great in UHD as well!

I am a big fan of the Alien franchise. There's a few so so ones in the middle, but Ridley Scott is a great director, and this movie is a perfect example of what he does well. I'd put this at number three, right after the first two Alien movies, which are two of the best movies EVER. And therefore so is this one. Check it out!

I purchased a large screen TV and needed a better format than was provided by DVDs. Blu-Ray format definitely works for this TV. I already had the movie on DVD but it was worth the upgrade. Movie is a prequel to the original series and is quite action packed. If you enjoyed the original alien movies you will like this one.

Covenant has plenty of action and exciting moments. The acting is terrific and it evolves the Alien and Engineer stories. I could do with a little less of the Fassbender love story with himself but he does do a great acting job.

More action than the other alien movies doesn't tie together with the Sigorny weaver alien. The alien was created in the future but in the older movies they been living for thousands of years. Still liked it

A great sequel to Prometheus! This is also best Alien film since the original. Directed by Ridley Scott, this film takes up where Prometheus left off. Its intelligent and still manages to make you jump! A great job!

ALIENS is one of my favorite sci-fi/horror film series but this one seems like a filler film to bridge the gap between PROMETHEUS and the next prequel. Good enough to watch but nothing to cheer about.

Overall the movie is good. How ever i think ridley scott doesn't know what else to do with the xenomorph this why they focus more on the artificial Intelligence. Would have like too see less davids and more xenomorphs

Caught a lot of flak on initial release, but I think this one holds up well. Particularly on repeat viewings. Then again, I really liked Prometheus, so factor that in to my take. The movie is fun and the action scenes are nice. If you like Alien, you owe it to yourself to see this one.

I really enjoyed this film and I hope they continue the story with a sequel. It doesn't have multiple twists and plots but it does have a good heart and an interesting ending that wants me to come back for more.
