The remastered 4k version is something to be seen. The picture is nothing short of exceptional, especially in the darker filmed portions of the film. The only disappointment is there is not a Dolby Atmos track or DTS X remaster of the audio to accompany the stellar visual performance.

What a beautiful Horror movie this was , this is what movies are all about , such as action , suspense , adventure , this movie has it all in one bag , I would definitely recommend this movie be watched in 4K Ultra Blu-ray , and would definitely recommend this to anyone.

If you are a fan of this movie it’s worth the extra dip. The transfer is absolutely incredible. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. Highly Recommend this for anyone who loves Alien. I will say this, there is no atmos on the transfer but that doesn’t cause it to suffer trust me.

I love the H.R. Giger artwork with highlighter colors. An odd style that actually kind of works. I'm just really happy we have the egg from the original theatrical poster on the front. One of my top 10 favorite movies finally released in 4K along with a beautiful steelbook.

If you are a fan of "monster in the house" genre films this and Jaws take the cake. The steel book is fitting, the design is rich in color, and overall makes me want to watch the film over and over again! Would highly recommend if you are a collector or starting out!

For some reason I hadn’t bought other versions but bought this one even though I don’t have 4K now so review is for Blu-ray. Came undamaged and with instructions for movies unlimited app so I can watch on iPad. Blu-ray looks great and sound and good extras too. Highly recommended

This steelbook is beautiful and glossy with some chilling artwork on the inside! I was a little disappointed that this presentation was in HDR10+ and not Dolby Vision. The image is far darker then the SDR version on Blu Ray so take that into consideration when purchasing.

Love this version of Alien. The 4k was amazing. Love it so much!

Lets start off with how beautiful this is! That's the main reason I got it, on top of Alien in 4k. Big fan of steelbooks. At this point, who hasn't seen Alien? Genre defining sci-fi horror in 4k. Great picture on-screen as well. Both cuts and a blu-ray disk to boot. Buy it!

It's Alien! What more can be said for this iconic movie? If this isn't in your 4K collection I feel sorry for you!

Alien's 4K upgrade features an astounding new level of detail and colors that really pop out of the screen. A more than worthwhile addition even if you already own the Anthology set, which I recommend keeping for the plethora of extras missing from this single film release.

I saw this movie when it first came out and it left an undeniable mark on me. It was at an excellent theater too but my home theater setup and this format will make you think that you were in the open mess area when the pigs blood flew across the actors. Great transfer!

I hoped omen of my absolute favorite films, Alien, would be remastered in 4K. I have to say that this is the best remaster I have seen. There is an immense amount of detail in shots that I don’t recall ever seeing before. Very happy to have this in my collection.

This 4k would not play on my 4k players at first. Took two times taking it back and a few trouble shooting steps to get it to work. But it was well worth it. This one is a true classic that any collector should own. Only wish the steelbook wouldn t have been sold out.

I've owned every single format released for Alien, which is IMHO, one of the best science fiction films ever screened. From VHS to Blu-Ray, I've owned them all but this latest 4K UHD release of the sci-fi classic directed by Ridley Scott is the best of the bunch.

This is one of the best upgrades ever. I loved it so much that I also got the steel book version. This films had been worth every upgrade. Blu Ray was amazing and I thought it couldn’t get better and here we are. They topped themselves again with this release.

Alien is a classic. If you haven't seen it, you have to. The 4K disc is a solid upgrade over the Blu-ray, but I have to say, Fox, what are you guys doing to me? I NEED Aliens on 4K as well. Buy this disc, and Fox will be more prompted to upgrade the sequels.

This review is for the 4k version of the movie. You already know the movie, but in 4k with HDR processing, there is so much more detail to be seen. The original movie was so dark, I didn't realize how much I was missing, until now. Well worth the purchase.

I love the Alien films. This is my third copy of the film. I gave away the DVD and Blu Ray versions. It is well worth upgrading to the best copy of the film. My only disappointment is that the whole series of films is not a boxed set in 4k.
