This computer does everything I need it too, from League of Legends to Adobe Software Suite, it runs super fast and smooth!

I needed something that could handle a heavy workload. This machine takes it all and goes to town. No lag no delay.

Great laptop 4k can be tricky at times but love the laptop

Great laptop with 4k resolution however the games themselves cannot be ran at 4k resolution due to low framerate. About 20fps in 4k mode. A graphical amp and addional cards will be needed to get games to run in 4k mode.

This pc is powerful enough to handle all my son's gaming needs.

I purchased the laptop for online use and found the graphics and speed exceeded my expectations.

Turned this little beast on. Went through the setup quickly. I'm a traveling gamer and my last laptop died on me. Had to have a replacement. I'm glad that I purchased this Alienware 17". It has amazing graphics. Maxed out on Black Ops 3 and the screen resolution awesome.

I bought this laptop for its specs. The trouble started when I first set it up. The laptop froze when the initial setup was almost complete and had to restart it. No problem. Before I started to load any of my programs I made a Recovery Media flash drive using the pre-installed software. So far so good, or so I thought. I started loading my programs and the laptop started to lock up and have more problems. I decided to run my Recovery flash drive and this is where the big problems began. All the recovery did was to reload Windows 10 Home Premium - NO pre-installed programs or drivers. The Alienware programs that where initially there WERE GONE. I got on Dell's website and downloaded the recommended drivers for this laptop. Unfortunately this laptop was now a different loaded laptop than originally purchased. It was NOT a factory install. There was no Recovery program to be had from DELL. Upon further research I read from other disgruntled users that Dell does not provide Recovery discs for this Alienware laptop. Never before had I run into this, I was ALWAYS able to purchase Recovery media for all my computers. (I am a retired computer technician). Any way I returned the laptop and purchased an ASUS laptop which I am VERY happy with. Dell blew this one. What a disappointment.

Bought this computer thinking it would be a great laptop. within 7 weeks the battery was no longer recognized and would not charge. Sound would work at it own will...meaning one day I would have sound I could control, next day I might have sound but could not control volume and then next day I would have no sound...computer said I had no sound card (go figure). NVidia graphics display would just konk out and have to repair itself several times a day. After spending 2 hours on phone with tech support and them trying to go thru repairs remotely they decided I should send it in....been there for a week and word I have now is a part they need is on backorder...so no idea when I will get it back...Really disappointed in this purchase and would not recommend it

This machine is a workhorse and can run The Division like a champ. It is my first Alienware pc and I am very satisfied after a month. The Alienware feature of potentially expanding the video card via external connection was what made me switch from Asus.
