Laptop worked ok. Motherboard went out after just over a year of ownership. Over $900 to replace. With way computer parts are we are better off just pulling the HD's for data and purchasing a new better unit.

The graphics are excellent on this laptop for video games, however, my son had an issue with it, needed repair after owning it for only 5 months. Hopefully this is not typical and it will be working well from now on.

Because it was the floor model, I bought the machine to handle 4K graphics I need to produce my films. It runs well, but a tiny humming from the machine is from the usage of random customers, I'm sure.

My son and i went to Best buy to look and buy a laptop for college and sales person & manager showed us this one open box. My boy fell in love with the laptop, he never thought to own a Alienware laptop. Works great.

Great replacement for desktop tower. (Heavy) Excellent screen resolution and system performance. Upgraded BIOS and memory to 32GB. I have been using this machine for a couple of months - rock solid!

I am in the process of purchasing a gaming laptop and i decided to put a big budget anywhere from 1K to 3K to even 4K. I have been actively reading about gaming laptop from different manufactures with different models and of course prices! So i bought this laptop to see if it have any problems or not to purchase the custom version of it (Higher CPU, GPU and RAM). My Issue is with the Fan Noise (when gaming) it's not very high but i really don't like noise and it get a little hot. However i tried MSI laptop and the problem is even WORSE :(!!! Best of Luck

This Alienware is everything I expected and more. The specs are impressive for the price point and its easily upgraded, so its future proof. Highly recommended just remebr its heavy and gets warm while gaming which is expected. Check me out at handfulofhacks.com

As is, it's a pretty awesome laptop for gaming!! Swapout the 128 gb ssd for a 1tb and upgrade the memory to 20gb and I got myself a powerhouse! Only con is its quite heavy for a laptop but that aside, if given the chance to buy again, I definitely would!!

The lap top was a great present for a Christmas. The only problem I had is that it was delivered and the surprise was over immediately because it was in original manufacturer box.

I have put this laptop through its paces, and it has been a joy to work with. In addition to its performance, the sound and graphics are top-notch. If you are planning to take it on the road, get a case with wheels or visit the gym; this weighs a ton.

The graphics are great. The solid state drive speeds up routine functions. This is not a very mobile laptop. The big screen is great for watching movies. Works well with cad programs.

It's well built - nice and solid. It's huge and heavy, be mindful if you're going to be carrying this on a regular basis. I'm very happy with this purchase.

the laptop is bigger than most common laptops but I can upgrade it. I added 16gb of ram. Currently i have 20 gb of ram. I will be adding another SSD. I purchased this computer since it has a nice air cooling system.

This may not be the premium desktop gaming PC, but I didn't buy it for that. This is a premier Gaming Laptop with a pretty sweet discreet GPU. Plays most games in Ultra settings. When I upgrade the RAM will be even better.

Excellent Product! Alienware has proven again that they make great products. I couldn't have been happier. If you want style, luxury and all the bells and whistles, this is the laptop for you. You won't be disappointed.
