The best Gaming Laptop Period....Alienware is the King

I bought it for my son for his birthday. He really likes it he's been wanting one for a long time. It makes his personal time very special, he is a hard-working family man with 4 sons. His personal time is well earned and I was happy to get it for him.

Pros: Fast Intel Skylake Quad Core processor, NVIDIA energy efficient Maxwell graphics, Beautiful 4K display, Fast 40Gbps thunderbolt 3 port Cons: bit heavy. Well gaming laptops are usually pretty heavy It had all the latest tech I needed. With thunderbolt 3 port I can connect my laptop to Razor core (already pre-ordered) with my Asus Strix GTX 1070 GPU. Couldn't wait to see eye candy in all my games.

I bought this laptop for my Son. He uses it all the time and seems to enjoy having it. The laptop is heavy and we had a hard time finding a sleeve that it would fit into.

Excellent laptop with very few complaints but the lack of a cd rom requires you to buy an external cd rom to play games/movies. For the price it should have been included but overall very satisfied with this product.

I purchased this laptop as an open-box item. Best Buy gave me a great deal. My previous laptop was also an open box display model item, and that lasted me more than 6 years before I decided to upgrade. The laptop works well, but the graphics card will give you only mid-range results for the latest titles. I purchased an alienware graphics amplifier and installed an Asus ROG Rx 480, which fixed that issue. Aside from that, no complaints.

When I saw that Best Buy was having such a great deal with this I rushed out to go out and buy it. My husband has been wanting Alienware for years! He was in shock when he came home and found it. He said I was the Best Wife ever! He is simply smitten by Alienware!!!

I don't use for gaming. I used for video editing. I wish it had more memory but you can upgrade, Fast machines. Some functions could be better explained.

This was an exchange from an HP Omen that failed. So far it has performed brilliantly. It's heavy, but that isn't a concern since we don't transport it at all.

expected more from Alienware, nothing but issues with this system, back to the factory right of, crashed upon return, had to fix myself, the of course Microsoft updates keep failing and crashing it, updating me out of my expensive software, it's kind of like owning a street rod, runs great then breaks down and has to be fixed and maintained constantly.

Spent months looking at Asus, Msi, Lenovo, and Dell gaming laptops. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. The laptop is extremely powerful. I'm even steam my ps4 and Xbox remotely from another floor in my house. The best part is that with the graphic amplifier from Alienware, it is now VR Ready. Very excited.

I've been wanting an Alienware computer for several years, but could never make myself pull the trigger because of the price...until now. It's almost impossible to find a 17" gaming laptop with a good graphics package and SSD (hybrid) for under $1500, but the Alienware was an Open Box and they offered me a great price that I couldn't pass up. The specs are great for the price. I can play Fallout 4 at max settings with NO issues. My old Samsung (non-gaming) laptop would crash when playing any games, including World of Tanks.

This was an open box purchase with a great deal. Was shopping around for all kinds of laptops, but when I saw this at the price it was at, done deal. I did have to send it to dell, the sound card went out the first week. Wasnt too mad, it was open box after all and under warrant. They replaced it and it's been running smooth ever since. 1300 for this machine at the time was a steal. Happy customer.

The price was worth it. It is beautiful and portable. Also, it works great and runs all my games greatly.

This system will Blow you away, online gaming no problem , I had No issues with this system

This thing is fast and the 4K dis play is awesome. I use it with my drone really good footage.

Machine met all my expectations + 1 new one. It actually has 2 m.2 slots and I was able to get a 500gb ssd cheaply to clone the boot drive. Easy. Updated memory to an unheard of 64gb! Fantastic graphics and I was able to watch a Netflix 4K movie! Only down side is it's weight. A bit heavy but I knew it's size and weight going in,

Good gaming laptop. Would be better with a disc drive.
