The Alienware 17 R4 is one of the best gaming laptops I've ever seen. From the G-Sync 1440p matte display to the ability to use a desktop GPU video card using the Graphics Accelerator attached to the laptop, you can't go wrong with this beast. Customized RGB lighting on the keyboard and sides of the monitor to the spacious TouchPad, this laptop can be customized to your liking. There's not much I dislike really about this product. Highly recommend it those who like to game, because you can upgrade the RAM and hard drive fairly easy too..

This computer has been working fine and I'm really impressed with the speed and the quality of the video. I should have done this long ago.

I initially wanted a 15.6" laptop for easier portability but with smaller size comes bigger price as well as higher heat. I found this laptop on sale and went for it despite its size. All of its features make up for the size and weight, which considering the hardware and screen size of it is not all that bad. You may need to purchase a new laptop bag even if you have one for 17" my Samsonite barely zips over the edges of the laptop. I have had the computer for about a month and so far there have been no issues with it.

I am a gamer and I have google, so just interested in clear beautiful graphics and speed. So far I am pleased

Performs as expected. GSYNC display works great when gaming. Not too much software bloat. Although I did do a fresh install of Windows10. Upgraded the SSD drive with 2 NVMe PCI-Express 3.0 x4 drives Upgraded the memory to 32gb ddr4-2400 Upgraded the 7200rpm drive with a 1gb SSD drive Only a few gripes: Display brightness never stays consistent even when adaptive brightness is disabled. Not a fan of Matte screens but I'm dealing with it. included SSD drive is not a NVMe PCI-Express 3.0 x4 drive

I got this on sale and all I can say is this laptop is well worth it. GTX 1070 can handle anything you throw at it!

I'm not a gamer but need a powerful unit. Wish it had more ports for business applications.

Great computer for gaming. Yes it's heavy, but it's still portable and isn't to heavy to have on your lap at all. Wanted something for when I go to my buddies house and this was just the ticket! Can run any game I've played and doesn't even break a sweat! I did replace the 128 GB SSD with a 500 GB Sony 960 and the startup is lighting quick! It might coast you a little more, but it's the best laptop out there in my opinion.

Was looking for a hearty laptop that could keep up with video editing. This filled the need.

This is one fantastic computer, especially for gaming.

Title says it all. GPU temps reach around 90 degrees celcius when playing games. Also the 1440p screen has some issues with rendering certain programs. It blurs out the edges. Other than that the laptop is extremely fast, well built, and amazing to use.

This laptop does it all! Had it for a year for a Masters in Cybersecurity. Used it for my real estate business. Finally, it was unbelievable for gaming. This is a must get for any true cyber professional, or cyber gamer!!!

I had it for 2 weeks until it abruptly shutdown one night. I loved it's features and premium feel, but it turned back on once after dying only to show a screen full of static lines and then shutdown for good. It's too bad it was great while it ran.

Fast computer!!! Real nice to see all blizzard games run at 2k resolution at 100fps or higher with Gsync. Nice eye candy!!
