Awesome Specs, very enjoying gaming experience! Graphics are almost real, including a software to optimize gaming experience with no lag, no glitches, no problems whatsoever. The laptop has great material and provides with cool LEDS all around, feature can be disabled with a cool “stealth mode” feature that also disables the sound of the fan which is pretty cool! 18’ inch screen which is awesome for watching Movies, Videos, Work and even playing video games. Travel compatible!

Great product! love the speed and ability of this computer, it is heavy for anyone not expecting that (I was, but just in case). Everything about this unit is top of the line!

This laptop is a beast—super fast, runs games on ultra settings with no lag, and the 300Hz screen makes everything look incredibly smooth. The build feels premium and performance is unmatched.

this unit is fast. I like iet alot but, i had to remove some of the bloat ware from it. A lot of adds and offers . After clearing that out it is running great. great graffics as well.

I like my Alienware, Area-51, it’s very fast and does what I want it to do. It’s a little on the heavy side, but i can deal with it, The best laptop I have ever owned, very good job on this laptop dell…

I am replacing my last Alienware with this one. I had it for almost 7 years. I had to get this one only because I could not update to the new Windows operating system. This laptop is very smooth and fast. The screen is clear, and the refresh rate is really good. I would highly recommend this laptop.

Runs very well at everything. The speakers with subwoofers are good but not the best. The screen has a little backlight bleed on the top edge for me, but it doesn't bother me because I don't use my laptop in a dark room. The Alienware Command Center is missing features but isn't as buggy as some YouTube reviewers claim. You can use the laptop on quiet mode and still get above 100 fps with low fan noise.
Positives:
+ Anti-glare screen with G-sync
+ 3 X M.2280 NVME SSD slots
+ Has a MUX switch (toggle requires a reboot) and Advanced Optimus
+ All RGB can be turned off including the power button. You'll need to select everything in the Alienware Command Center and set it to a black color. Everytime you turn on the laptop again, the light blue LED touchpad will turn on for a second then turn off on its own.
+ Quiet mode run at 75W CPU & 90W GPU, up to 42 dB
+ Balanced mode runs at 75W CPU & 150W GPU, up to 48 dB
+ Main CPU & GPU air intake vents are on the top deck above the keyboard area.
+ Keyboard has a soft rubberized texture to its surface and feels good to type on, but I use an external keyboard and mouse.
Negatives:
- Somewhat hard to open the lid because there's no latch or something to help you lift it. You have to dig your fingers in it.
- White LED light on the charger plug that cannot be turned off. You can cover it with some heatshrink tube, but you will need to remember to uncover it if you have problems with your laptop. It's suppose to help you diagnose power related issues.
- After you disable all RGB leds and you turn on the number pad lock or volume mute, these white LEDs cannot be disabled through the Alienware Command Center or BIOS. If you use them frequently, you'll have to cover them with some black tape.
- Currently, there's no option to stop the battery charging at 80% in the Alienware Command Center or BIOS. Your laptop is going to be charged 100% all the time until Dell decides to restore this feature.
- No webcam physical shutter or software kill switch to enable or disable the webcam. If you want some privacy, you'll need to cover the webcam with a cloth.

Excellent Machine, Very well built, it is a bit heavy but very sturdy. Every title I have played on this so far has been on Ultra with no lag or issues, massive frames. Note: this machine has 3 M.2 slots total so you have a lot of room for expansion

This computer is an absolute beast. It has easily handled every game/task I’ve thrown at it, and stays cool to the touch. I felt like I was potentially taking a chance buying an open-box version, but I have luckily not had any reason to second guess that. As a secondary bonus, the overall aesthetic of the computer is absolutely beautiful. :-)

Great powerful laptop computer. It does everything I need it to do. The computer needs to be plugged in for longer sessions as the internal battery does not last a long time unplugged but that is to be expected considering the power needed to run this amazingly powerful laptop.

This laptop is amazing. Runs really quiet and the performance is incredible. Love that the vents blow out of the sides and the back instead of underneath. It’s already been used alot and not issues whatsoever. Highly recommend this product.

Very powerful machine. A little on the heavy side but if you want a desktop replacement. It's hard to beat the power and build quality of the Area 51 18"

The Alienware system was very nice and I received it in quick time. My issue was with FEDEX, who indicated that a signature would be required which I figured would happen for a 2500 dollar machine. Well, they left it on my doorstep without a signature. Best Buy needs a better carrier for deliveries. The box looked like it played against the buccaneers, so I was happy the inside was secure.

I bought my laptop in August and so far it performs like a champ, until about a week ago the keyboard stops functioning when I switch account users or log off and on. Contacted dell support and they had to escalate it further up the chain because they couldn’t resolve the issue but, otherwise this is a great laptop.
Alienware must have stolen this from actual aliens

Best laptop out there, especially at the sale price. Truly a replacement for a desktop. Build is phenomenal, it feels as premium as it should be. Definitely a head turner. The weight is a thing, but if you’re looking for a desktop replacement, that you can take on the road. This is it!
