I upgraded to this computer when my old one couldn't load Warzone and some other games quick enough. This PC has been super fast and I'm able to play Warzone with no lag. It is very quiet (besides a light ticking noise) and I'm very happy that I spent a little extra to get this desktop. Highly recommend!

Great set up could use more storage. Easy to use.

Honestly this was the only option available when I had to return the MSI I originally bought. But from past experience I know Dell is a pretty decent brand (my gaming laptop was also Dell) and so far this computer is working waaaaay better than the MSI did lol. Love the customizations and the speed. Good for a first prebuilt.

Although the computer is fast. the storage is very, very low. Especially considering that this is labeled as a gaming computer. The average ''modern game'' is well over 20 GB. By the way replacing the hard drive is only possible up to 2tb Between programs, games music, photos, ext. you will be full in no time.

All the mixed reviews on this trouble me. It was literally the only gaming computer in stock that was just under $2000 & we needed it immediately. Our 13 yr old LOVES GAMING on this computer & he's a tough crowd to please, especially when electronics are glitchy. He had one issue (user error) early on with screen going from b& w repeatedly and we called Geek squad (always buy all their insurances, both types) who told us to swap ports or get a new cable. That fixed it, it wasnt a problem with the computer. We've had it for 4 months & plays it for many hours every day. We also dragged it across the country in a car with no problems, dragging it in a box in & out of hotel rooms. So by my experience, it's sturdy, far better than the one we replaced & so far, perfect! He only uses it for gaming & online school, office isn't even installed. I WILL update if any problems.

It’s a really good starter PC. It does get loud while playing big Triple A games but i haven’t experienced any overheating. Also I’m only getting 130 FPS in Warzone which I think is low for the price of the PC considering for 500$ the new consoles get 120 fps

I'm giving it a 5 based on overall value. Right out of the box however, buy a matching 16gb stick of ram and an SSD. Makes a world of difference. I recommend hyperx 3466mhz to match stock ram and 2TB Samsung EVO. Also, stock fan values are set to high. Use Alienware Cmd center to adjust for lower better cooling. P.s. some people are giving bad reviews so they can buy them.

Love the look! Setup easy, Just got it, but so far, am very happy with it! Speed outstanding, playing my games outstanding! Have future upgrade plans that the Alienware appears to be ready to handle.

Although all of the bad reviews I read, this computer is phenomenal. A lot of fan complaints but all of my components stay cool and even during playing Call of Duty at 165hz in 4k. The 3070 Graphics card is stunning and gives me zero problems. Adjusting settings is key to the computer running how you want it. Id give this more stars if I could. I7 Processor is killer fast and just works amazing. Solid computer and would recommend even the bad reviews which it shouldn't have!

A bit expensive and it has poor ventilation, beisdes that is a capable machine that will get you trough this generation just fine, as long as you tend to that overheating problem.
Great computer so far, am able to multi task easily, play games at max settings and stream at the same time. So far doing pretty well, skeptical about being DOA considering a few desktops have been lately, but this one is doing well so far. If there’s any change I’ll update, but I’m liking it!

Fast and relatively quiet. I have been playing 7 Days to Die on max. settings and it runs SMOOTH. No complaints other than the constant pop-ups (not Alienware's fault).

At least it’s not a cyber power pc! This pc has proprietary parts and a OEM GPU. It still ran well and though it’s upper limit of operational temps it didn’t push past acceptable. Looks cool!

I had to add some fans and a water cooler and replace the RAM. After that, no complaints. Yes it’s in addition to the cost, but these days everything PC gaming is coming at a premium

Buy h60 cooler and extra ram for dual channel its worth it, hate how they added a water cooled cpu when it actually isnt and no vrm heatsink so keep in mind .

I’ll admit, I was hesitant to buy a PC. I even debated on building my own. However, with this Alienware PC, gaming has never been more fun! I already owned an Alienware monitor before, so the two were a match of course. On top of that, playing VR games are a blast with it! One side note, it can get a little loud with the fan, but the ease of access to the interior can help you upgrade anything you’d like at anytime! I highly recommend to get this PC if you love to game!

Over heats a poor choice if you game. The i7 cpu has a very small air heater. Your cpu will get hot. Frankly do not buy it. Unless you are willing to pull the cpu cooler and void the warranty. I simply do not understand why they did this cooling choice.

Hello philipma1957new,
Thank you for sharing your review. We are sorry to hear that your Alienware is running a little warmer than you would like and not meeting your expectations. Your feedback is incredibly valuable as we build current and future products. We can understand how frustrating an overheating laptop can be. One option to help with the overheating concern is to update the BIOS. There was a BIOS update for this series released and you can download the update here - https://dell.to/3y6irY7.
You can also prioritize cooling by opening the Alienware Command Center and select the 'Cool' thermal profile. If the issue persists, you can contact Dell directly with the information below via Chat or Call.

I got this PC to replace another that had failed and it is very fast. The rtx 3070 is a powerful GPU and all of my games play with excellent graphics. I have had no issues with this PC as of yet and think it is a great choice for an gaming PC, especially with its Intel CPU and GPU combination. It has two 2.5 inch tool less expansion bays for SATA SSDs in the bottom of the case as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and expect this machine to last me for many years.
