Great contrast and great colors on this monitor. A bit worried about other reviews stating they developed issues but so far ao good and the warranty is good too.

Amazing quality! Coming from an older LG IPS panel, this is a major, major upgrade. I've been playing Expedition 33 on it and the colors look heavenly on it. Take the plunge, it is worth the money!

Amazing display vibrant cover colors. Self panel healing. High-definition resolution. What complaints except for the exterior color Slightly overpriced, for how old display is from manufacturing

This is a great QD-OLED monitor if you're looking to upgrade from IPS/1080p monitor. The colors looks amazing with bright contrast and vivid HDR. It has a great refresh rate and is very responsive while playing games. The only two drawbacks is that the screen scratches very easily the black level seems to raised a bit during the day with natural and artificial and lighting. Besides that, I would recommend for those who use in a dim room or play mostly at night.

This screen is great for 4K gaming and watching movies. Deep blacks make the screen look amazing. Highly recommend

Bought the AW2725Q as I wanted to upgrade from a 2yr old 1440p OLED to a 4k model for my Xbox Series X. The Alienware checked every box of my wants. Problem is that I didn't do enough research prior to purchase. Seems that many launch time models manufactured Jan-March 2025 had an issue causing them to overheat and just go to a black screen. Newer manufactured models with a revision number of 01 have corrected that issue. My Alienware despite being bought an entire year later was .manufactured in Feb 2025 and the dreaded #00 revision number. Tried it on my Xbox anyhow and in the 2hrs I used it the the got super hot. I didnt even want to risk it breaking and having to do a warranty thru Dell so I returned it for the Asus XG27UCDMG which uses the same panel. Thing with the Asus is that it uses a custom heatsink instead of a internal fan to keep cool. My 1440p OLED was also a Asus and its still perfect after 2yrs. The Alienware is also not as bright out of the box. The only thing the Alienware does that the Asus doesn't is support Dolby Vision. Honestly if you can actually get a Alienware manufactured more recently with anything other than revision #00 you should be fine. I just think thar for $900 its more of a risk than other models.

The quality of video from this monitor is something extraordinary and also getting it for discount was something I thought wouldn’t happen.

OLED is the way to go. Completed my setup, absolutely no complaints. The colors POP. I don’t think I could ever go back from OLED

I connect it to my work laptop and PC and switch between them. This monitor has only 1 HDMI port so either my PC or work laptop has to use HDMI. It doesn't matter which computer I connect to the HDMI port, the connection is always flaky and monitor goes through disconnect - reconnect cycles frequently. The problem might be in HDMI spec according to Gemini but downgrading HDMI form 2.1. to 2.0 is impossible since this monitor doesn't have manual control for HDMI spec version any more. This screen is very painful to use if you need to connect it to multiple computers and switch between them. I don't recommend it. It's unbelievably stupid to have 2 problematic HDMI ports and just a single display port for a high FPS 4K screen. Why???

Wasn’t really impressed with this monitor. The hdr is not as good as the pg27ucdm and so isn’t the colors. Might end up returning it and wait for the pg32ucdm3 as it’s getting the 4th gen panel. It’s definitely worth the price if you can snag this one at a discount, though. Would definitely recommend waiting till it drops to $600 or less, that will be a great buy for this monitor. Especially since the new gens are already coming out.

Really no complaints! Great quality, although seemingly slighty dim in bright settings

When on sale this is one of the best deals for an oled monitor at 4k and 240hz. The 27inches provides amazing clarity due to the pixel density and resolution. Early manufactured versions had a black screen problem, but this one purchased in January 2026 has had no issues. Another issue is a loud buzzing fan noise but I also haven't heard that as well.
