it ill handle any game you throw at it at 120 fps or more depending on the game. But recommend getting an nvme hard drive for it.

I was longing for a powerful gaming laptop. I bought this for 1,500 since it was on deal (I believe it was 2k+ originally). It’s very loud when I’m playing games like Roblox and Terraria. I thought I would get used to it. But I’m starting to completely regret this purchase. Look if gaming laptops are your thing and don’t mind loud fans, then this might be your thing??? I tried to love it but it was simply too hard. I kind of like it and rarely use it now. I feel like I should have loved it since I spent a huge amount of money but oh well.

Solid build quality, and performs decently even in "silent" mode. Battery Life: Can't expect too much out of this thing on battery seeing how it's meant to be a desktop replacement, but it was "okay" on AMD. Intel might be another story. Speed: Mine had a 3070 TI on it, was able to play Hogwarts Legacy at Ultra with Ray Tracing turned off without any issues. The GPU hits 140W without issue. Display: No complaints at all. One thing to note is that this thing has a high pitched fan noise when compared to another laptop I tested, a Asus ROG Zephyrus G15. Must have something to do with the blade design. Unfortunately taking a star off since I had to return mine due to a GPU issue (screen was ghosting badly and tearing). I got this as "Open Box Excellent" at a significantly discounted price. I'm assuming this unit got returned to begin with due to the random tearing / gpu issue. The only other time I've seen this happen is on an older MacBook Pro with a failing GPU due to a soldering issue I believe.

Shout out to the Dell Rep for Putting out the wrong info Again! I kind of figured it was too good to be true but was hopeful since the picture on the listing actually showed the mechanical keyboard. Not sure what happened to Alienware, but this laptop should not be selling for $2100, even in these times. The 2022 R7 does not show any improvement from last year's 5000 series. It's definitely the weak link in the build. The 2022 i7 or R9 would be a better fit at this Price point. And dell why are you guys still using the oversized 240w power brick from the 1980's? I expected to see the slim power brick from last year. Especially since there is no PD support again. Not Cool! The display is awesome and bright, but for some reason Advanced Optimus wasn't working properly. I had to switch to dGPU manually every time. I'm sure a clean install will fix this, but it should work out the box. A 512GB SSD on a $2,100 laptop is a joke. I gave this build 3 stars because the 150w 3070Ti was performing as expected. I would wait for this to go on sale because at $2100 you can do way better. I think $1799 is where this build should be. I will be returning my unit tomorrow morning.

I purchased the Alienware m15 R7 gaming laptop about two months ago, and unfortunately, it has been a frustrating experience. In this short time, I've already had to replace the display once, and I've encountered multiple hardware issues. The problems have extended to components like the battery and fans, which have also needed replacement. One of the most frustrating aspects of this laptop has been the issues with Alienware's software. It's disheartening to know that these problems are well-known to Alienware, yet they haven't provided a solution. I've had to rely on YouTube tutorials to try to address these software problems. Overall, my experience with the Alienware m15 R7 has been disappointing, and I would not recommend it to others. The recurring hardware issues and unresolved software problems have made this gaming laptop a source of frustration rather than enjoyment.

Overall laptop is good the only thing is the fan is a bit loud once you start gaming.

The laptop is pretty good but the only drawback is the storage is only 512gb.

The computer is very good, I am very satisfied. Unfortunately, perhaps during BEST BUY inspections, in order to put it back up for sale (it's an "open box" item), they didn't properly secure the power adapter attached to the motherboard. This caused some issues and many calls to technical support. Everything else is perfect.

As a Mac guy coming over to the PC I think I made the right decision to go with the Alienware model. It’s fast enough for my editing workflow and I can see my videos without the lag.

I play steam games with no problems. Really fast laptop. I got the open box for about $1,200 and it came in perfect condition.

I had some trouble getting this laptop. The first one I got the screen was broken after I got home. I returned it and got the same machine. I have not had an AMD processor since 2000. I was never impressed back then and was worried about getting one again. After getting home and using the laptop I am fairly impressed with the speed. The computer seems to run very smoothly with no issues. I do plan to upgrade the memory (ram) and the OS. But other then that it runs flawlessly. I do video editing and gaming. I have not had one issues with either programming.

Haven’t had a gaming laptop in a while, this one runs pretty much everything so I think is a great purchase
