very good system plays games well. sometimes a little glitchy on max settings

I absolutely LOVE this machine. Looks great, performs well, and while a little high priced it is worth every cent. Does get warm with some games but soon as you kick peeformance mode in and the fans come up to speed it stays at a fairly comfortable temp. Would highly recomend!!!

First, let me say that his review is not about Best Buy. I am completely satisfied with my purchasing experience. The laptop is beautiful. I found it to be surprisingly light for what features it has. I see a lot of reviews across the web saying that they run hot. I have not had that problem, even running high performance games in ultra high quality graphics. The screen is ultra-clear. The keyboard action is perfect for my gaming style. So why 2 stars? First, the overall build quality is not what you would expect from a $2,000+ Alienware laptop. The USB connectors on the side are very loose, leading to a lot of lateral motion. The AC adapter plug is very loose. Since it connects to the back of the laptop, it's hard to tell when it falls out. There is a weird little cheap cover on the RJ45 connector that will very definitely break off if the cable is plugged in and removed very often. Second, and this can be seen everywhere on Alienware laptop reviews, there is so much Dell bloatware and spyware that it affects performance. I had to disable some of the bloatware services to prevent them from taking over the laptop at random times. It's kind of sad that the manufacturer thinks it is more important to run their junk than for you to have full use of the laptop. And third, the disaster that is Alienware FX. I normally don't care a lot about RGB on a laptop, but I do use it in dim lighting, so a backlit keyboard is a must. Right out of the gate, the backlighting wasn't working. After going back and forth with Dell support for a few days and a clean reinstall of Windows, Dell decided that it was a hardware problem. They did send a tech out, and he replaced the "stadium" part (the back of the laptop deck). About three weeks later, the backlighting suddenly went out again. This time Alienware Command Center said it couldn't find any FX devices. Time for yet another clean install of Windows. After doing that the lights came on after it booted, but went back out after about 15 minutes or so. Dell wants me to send the laptop in for repairs, but I use it for other things so I can't afford to be without it for 2 or 3 weeks while Dell tries to fix it. They need to send a tech or they need to send a new laptop. It's really sad how far Alienware has fallen. Their products definitely have Dell's fingerprints all over them.

I love it!!! I've gone through many laptops but this one by far has been the best! Everything is so fast, its quiet. I produce music and game on it sometimes ill have multiple windows including a game and it still runs like if nothing was wrong. :)

I've had a lot of issues with this system, constant blue screens and driver issues, but when it works its a very powerful laptop. Not usable on your lap, this is basically a small gaming pc you can travel with.

It was everything I wanted for many years. And thank God I had the financial means to buy it. And fulfill one of the biggest dreams of my life.

It took a little while to get used to it. But I love it. Clear, bright perfect screen. FAST, I feel like the road runner I went to Best buy two days later and bought another one for my office. COST went up by $280.00 nothing they could do. But I bought it anyway.

Geat laptop. Doesn't overheat, is extremely fast and has a nice large screen. I highly recommend this laptop!

Overall okay but came with motherboard issues that lead me to Dell support. Dell support ended up making a mess of the front plate with some dents and scratches. I still have some issues when gaming. Not worth the money since this is a known motherboard issue.

We had our last Alienware Laptop for over seven years so I was happy to see a relatively upgraded model for a reasonable price at Best Buy. So Far, So Good with this model as it runs smoothly and has plenty of bells and whistles to go gaming and homework.

Acceptional machine at a steal of a deal im still acratching my knocker on this but the hardware and machine runs flawless unreal speeds highly recommend on thie deal.its on now hurry before u snooze n looze...:)

The product worked flawlessly. I actually ended up returning it because I didn't need power it offered. Im basically a Rocket League guy who will play an arpg here and there. It really was nice.

This is my First lab time. I am 3d designer so very important to have graphics. I bought for my practical interview. And i got the job. Good high quality screen helped a lot. Beautiful keyboard colors. I want to use this everyday !!!

Fantastic laptop. Updated the Ram cards, had a bit of trouble but Geek Squad helped me out. Overall no complaints.
