These are some of the sexiest cans I've ever seen. Upon receiving the product, I was reminded that Alienware never ceases to impress with their packaging and presentation. Right away you get the feeling that you're getting something of quality. And rest assured that you are with this headset. Thank you Alienware for always taking the time to give us a great presentation. I put this up against the most expensive wireless headset on the market right now which retails for three hundred and thirty dollars. And for the price of these Alienware headsets, you're getting very close sound quality (to the point where I couldnt discern the difference in games and movies sometimes). These are also some of the most (if not the most) comfortable headsets I've ever worn. They're definitely more comfortable than my three hundred dollar pair and is the reason I've been using these non stop. They have a soft nylon fabric with memory foam padding. The headband also uses memory foam type of material and it feels great! Pillows on your ears!! I love that the USB transmitter neatly tucks into one of the earcups.Setup was a breeze. Simply plug in the USB dongle into a USB port and you're ready to go. A BIG note here is that when you plug in the USB dongle, the transmitter automatically installs software - Alienware Headset Center. One thing to consider though, is that you need to be running Windows 10 in order for the Alienware audio software to be installed (at least from my experience). The application would not install/launch on my windows 7 rig. As soon as I would connect the dongle to an available USB port on one of my Windows 10 rigs, it would immediately and properly install the software . Just something to note for some of those gaming purists out there who are still running windows 7. I can't stress enough how great the software is. It's easy to use, very streamlined, gives you EQ settings, and the ability to change RGB lighting. These have to be the best looking headphones Ive ever seen. The mic has an audible alert to let you know when it's on or off and it is crystal clear. In terms of the sound, the default preset has a bit of a neutral/flat sound which I love. Very crisp mids and highs and tight punchy bass that doesn't over saturate your highs or mids. The only small gripe I would have about these headphones is that I get the feeling that because of the matte finish of the product, it will easily attract fingerprints. Not a big deal though. Lastly, I wish it was just a tiny bit louder . Sometimes find myself having to turn the volume all the way up, but to be honest, I dont think I would want to go much louder than that anyway but it would be nice to have. Definitely try these out, you will not be disappointed!!!

I highly recommend this head set it is awesome the charge on it is amazing it has a long charge cable if it is running low when you are playing games I am 100% satisfied with this head set

Kind of bulky and troublesome to set up but once you get all the drivers needed from dell and apps from windows store you will have a great headset that will be hard to match.

Works perfect with no problems! I absolutely love this product I would one hundred percent recommend, beautiful sound quality for a wireless headphone worth the money.

The sound quality is good well built you definitely can hear the 7.1 sound however it’s just not loud enough for me

I bought this together with a gaming mouse for my brother and he can’t get enough of it. He said everything sounds real like you’re actually in the game.

This was purchased for my son for Christmas and he loves them. Sound quality through them was great the one time I was allowed to use them.

I was looking for some good wireless headphones I can use on my PC and PS4 and these definitely hit the spot. Sound quality is great.

My son loves these and says they are the best headphones. It completes his Alienware build as he has all the other Alienware peripherals.

I have to admit, despite the steep price tag, these are the best feeling and sounding headphones on the market in my opinion!

The comfort and the sound quality is hard to beat. Sometimes you get one or the other but this Alienware headset has it both!

Review for Alienware - Wireless Wired Stereo Gaming Headset - Black This headset is SO comfortable. The sports fabric used to cover the ear pieces is soft and does not get sweaty with extended use. It is nicely balanced and although it feels heavier in your hand, it feels light and breezy on your head. The signature Alienware lighting on the ear pieces is cool, but cuts down on battery time if you are using them wirelessly. The microphone turns on instantly when you pull it down; if you’re not using it, it tucks neatly away. The 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound seemed like it was unlikely to be very effective in a pair of headphones, but I was very pleasantly surprised to be able to distinguish sound coming from the rear or front, left or right. It’s hard to over emphasize how immersive the sound becomes due to the 7.1 feature! The frequency range is top-notch, with amazing bass and sweet treble. These rival my high-end noise-cancelling headphones! Because they’re from Alienware, these headphones seem to be most at home when in the Alienware ecosystem. For example, the wireless setup requires a small USB dongle that you plug into your PC (That is, they are not standard Bluetooth.) They work fine when they’re connected to my Alienware desktop PC, but some of the most basic settings are disabled when I plug them into my gaming controller using the short 1/8” cord provided. Volume for example: The thumbwheel on the left earpiece allows a quick volume tweak, but only works in wireless mode. This same feature works fine on a lower end gaming headset of mine, so I know it’s technically possible; that makes it feel like a poor design decision. Overall, even with these small inconsistencies, this is a great headset!

I’ve had to return numerous headphones, but not this one. Overall, I have tried Hyper X Cloud revolvers, Astro A40TR, and etc. The overall issue was finding loud enough headphones with quality to match. I was skeptical at first due to Alienware not having much experience with headphones, but honestly I’m glad I chose these. Would definitely recommend to anyone searching for good quality headphones for games like Rainbow Six: Siege.
