Customers are delighted by the KardiaMobile 6L's ease of use and accuracy, with many praising its simple operation and reliable readings. The device's small size and ability to provide valuable heart information are also frequently highlighted as positive aspects. However, some users express concern regarding the subscription required for full functionality and the limited battery life. The need for a subscription to access all features is a recurring negative comment.

If you are looking for a reliable and accurate personal EKG monitor, this device is simple to use and easy to keep records of every EKG you run through the mobile app. It has been straightforward to connect on two different devices, which allows us to keep track of two individual's readings. I would highly recommend this for anyone with heart concerns.

My cardiologist mentioned that a 6-lead EKG would be the best way to detect for heart conditions in my future. This is the best mobile EKG on the market and came highly recommended from my doctor. Since the purchase, I have used this device multiple times.
The application and readings are completely free. It provides a simple explanation of any relevant heart conditions. The device confirmed my doctors understanding of a possible fast heart rhythm.
Highly Recommend!

Love this!!. It’s small and easy to carry, very easy to use. It definitely gives me peace of mind. I pull this out of my purse when needed Instead of obsessing and checking my ecg and heart rate with my Apple Watch every second, Yes, I have health anxiety, bought this because my watch broke but instead of buying a new one I chose this. It has helped with my constant checking of pulse, etc.

As a nurse, this is actually quite great at diagnosing AFib Irregular Heart Rate, it is hard to see the EKG intervals but honestly pretty great for the price! Does NOT diagnose an active heart attack though!!! Please do not use it to do so.

Was looking for a product where we can take EKG when the situation arises and be able to maintain good baseline for review with doctor. We have been creating the baseline for use, if the situation arises.
The Kardia app also contains an option to generate a report so you can share with your physician. Would recommend product for people with heart conditions for home monitoring.
Please do remember that this does not replace the sophisticated EKG at Dr's office, but can help with home monitoring.

Indepth explanations for your education. If you have a need this is a tool your cardiologist will be supportive of.

A must-have item for people with heart conditions. The Kardia app contains an option to generate a report to your physician. for $25 you can have your EKG reviewed by an US board approved cardiologists. I bought it for $150 on Best Buy on August 2021

Very easy to use and does not require a monthly subscription to save data. You can email or text yourself the readings and provide to doctor for review. Gives you an opportunity to check you ekg without a hospital or er visit.

Great monitoring system to keep tabs on your heart health. They last about 6 months before they begin to have issues. Which is great for BB but not so much for your wallet

I've had the single lead version years before and it worked great but it stopped working. Got this the 6 lead instead and though this was has single lead option as well, this is the most finicky Kardia to use. Touching both nodes with two fingers as instructed will render the app to blink green multiple times because it detects interference. I've tried other phones, locations, outdoors and no other devices than phone and Kardia and it just fails to read. When it does start to record, it will be about 15 seconds until it the recording will stop on its on. I suffer from pvcs and I was able to capture a few of them when they occur but lo and behold, Kardia picked up my arrhythmia as no abnormalities detected. Which is wrong. I used to love Kardia but I feel the quality of their products are starting to get on the lower side.

Accurate and Convenient Heart Health Monitoring

I recently purchased the AliveCor KardiaMobile 6L Personal EKG Monitor, and it has been an outstanding addition to my health monitoring tools. This compact device offers the convenience of monitoring heart health from the comfort of my home, and it delivers professional-grade results.
Setup was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and the device paired seamlessly with my smartphone. The Kardia app is user-friendly, making it easy to record and store EKG readings. I appreciate how quickly I can get a reading—usually within 30 seconds.
The accuracy of the KardiaMobile 6L is impressive. I have a history of inappropriate sinus tachycardia, and this device provides reliable readings that I can share directly with my doctor. The six-lead EKG offers more comprehensive insights compared to single-lead devices, giving me confidence in its assessments.
One of the standout features is the ability to store and share results. I can easily email EKG reports to my healthcare provider, which has been incredibly helpful for remote consultations. The app also allows me to keep a detailed history of my readings, which is great for tracking changes over time.
The portability of the KardiaMobile 6L is another big plus. It’s small enough to carry in my pocket or bag, making it convenient to use anywhere, whether at home or on the go.
Overall, the AliveCor KardiaMobile 6L Personal EKG Monitor is a game-changer for anyone needing regular heart monitoring. Its accuracy, ease of use, and portability make it a valuable tool for maintaining heart health. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and convenient EKG monitor.

For anyone who could use something more informative and reliable than a smartwatch to take your ecg, Kardia 6L is an innovative piece of FDA cleared technology that is just that. I bought it hoping I could have something to give my doctor to show for the chest pain I have been having since my pulmonary embolism. The ECG's I have had done in clinic have been borderline. My hope was I could use Kardia while I was experiencing symptoms and it could reveal something more. It's very easy to use, intuitive, and you DO NOT have to pay or sign up for anything. So unless you want the subscription service, don't buy it. I think it's easy to misunderstand that you need it in order to use the device. That is not the case. You do need to download the app, to access your EGK's, but accessing and downloading your results is all free. You can pay for a consultation service too, which is a one-time fee of $25. Basically if you don't have the subscription but you want a "board certified cardiologist" to review your EKG for whatever reason, you submit it for review through the app and pay $25. Within 24 hours the cardiologist returns his report to you through the app. It's not how it sounds, however. I tried it, once, and it was a waste of money. My initial EKG said normal sinus rhythm, tachycardia. The report came back within 45 minutes and all the cardiologist said was "tachycardic forward to your physician for further review". Customer support was surprisingly responsive and refunded me my money. In my view, unless you're someone who has existing cardiac problems and your doctor thinks the additional information could be relevant, just think before you make the purchase. Also, you can either use your knee area or ankle area for the 6L reading. It makes me wonder if it alters the accuracy depending on where it's placed. Just some things to think about.

Exceeds My Expectations

Some known heart conditions causing an apparent irregular pulse rate became more frequent. I have several devices, (Finger tip, Watch, Blood Pres cuff) that can measure apparent pulse rate but no way to measure actual heart rate. While looking for devices to measure heart rate during episodes I ran across the KardiaMobile 6L on sale. After reviewing I purchased and am well pleased with this choice,
I watched several Nurse training ECG videos and taught myself to accurately determine & measure my particular issues. I am also currently under a 30-day remote monitor. I will update later if any different issues develop.
Cardiologist on 3 week follow up to ER visit soon after I receive the 6L was not impressed with the unit or the data I had saved. My Primary care doctor was more impressed after I ran an ECG on his nurse and him. He reviewed several of my saved ECG's and confirmed my determinations and measurements of primary issues were correct.
I had no major issues understanding use or operation after reading supplied material. Connection and operation with 6 year old Galaxy S7 had no issues,
What I have learned is several weird and/or noisy heart beats are often caused by movement or arm twitches. Deleting the noisy trace and rerunning usually produces a cleaner trace with the same basic data.
I use the unit typically 2-4 times a day to establish a base line data table while I am on the 30-day monitor.
Based on my experience I highly recommend the Kadia Mobile 6L as a great device to have on hand for self-evaluation when appropriate.

So far so good, works just as expected. I bought this device without the subscription program. Device works perfectly, and connected to my android app the very first time. I got a nice clear sinus rythym reading of my heart. I get better results using my ankle as the 3rd point of contact, more than my knee. I used to work as a heart monitor technician, so I know how to read the EKG provided. And let me say, this new 6 lead version is WAY better than the older 1L version. Like going from 2d black and white to 3d full color. This tool works perfectly for me without the subscription.

Originally purchased the cheaper of the 2 but this one has more information. Easy setup, additional subscription service available but we use it with out. Can set up primary on phone and guest or different person on second phone. Can do just fingers or place on leg and get more information. If skin is real dry you may need to moisten the skin area on leg for it to work. Phone has to be very close to work and turn off NPC.

The Kardia does what it's supposed to. I had trouble with the 6L by placing it on the knee. Maybe it's an issue with hair. I tried it on the ankle and I can get readings there. Kind of messed up that you have to pay a subscription to see the other 3 types of AFIB. I guess they need to make their money somehow though. I like that my BP cuff works with it as well so I have all my readings in a single app. That was a bonus.
