Check Before Travel

Our hotel offered adapters and also, to our surprise, had American outlets in their walls and fixturing. I returned my adapter to the store, but before I did, I opened it prior to my trip and it was cheaply made.

good pwer convertor for short usage.

It works great for about 1/2 hour and then began to get very hot. I disconnected it because I was afraid it would cause damage to my laptop. Would not recommend it for any prolonged use

Worked in Israel

One problem was it would fall out of the wall plug due to its weight. I found that it would stay plugged if I turned it 180 degrees. I plug a surge protector that has multiple outlets into the adapter then my devices into that.

Light on adapter turned on when I plugged it in, but it did not provide power to devices. Was told this was a converter-adapter and should work. Not sure what happened.

These suck!!!

It is impossible to get the metal prongs to eject far enough to fit in the outlet. The adapters fall out. these are completely unusable for Chinese outlets.
