I'd heard about this film for almost 2 years and was glad to find that even though it did not get theatrical distribution, that it was made available for us to see. This had a great story that was unpredictable as far as tearjerkers are concerned. The performances we very touching, and it's so good to see Mario Van Peebles directing more film. Curtis Jackson surprised the heck out of me with her very good performance, and kudos to Lynn Whitfield, Ray Liotta and the other supporting character actors. I was engrossed from the first frame and have recommended this film to all of my friends.
