A documentary on different types of music is showcased on different DVD's. This one primarily, focuses on The Beatles, although The Beach Boys, The Byrd's and Monterey Pop Festival gets brief moments. The Beatles' story is told through archival interviews from Lennon (1974), McCartney (circa 1972), and George Martin. The documentary covers their story up to Brian Epstein's death (Aug. 27, 1967) . The doc ends with Paul McCartney playing "Yesterday" live in concert in 1976.

Well, If my computer would stop blacking out & would have been done instead of writing this for the 3rd. time! Well, I really didn't like this DVD as I was not happy not being able to see Mick J. perform with the Stones in his dress & umbrella! AT LEAST ONE PERFORMANCE!! I liked the Beatles, guess its's because I had grown up with that era. I also liked Beal & Burban Street. As I was their in 2001, before Hurricane Katrina. But over all I felt this was pretty boring & also made me tired. I had watched "Elvis with a Generous Heart!" This was EXCELLENT!!!!" I'd recommend this anytime to a friend or anyone at that! Elvis , I learned a side of him I never knew before! He was one Great Guy & Very Special ALSO! During one of his Concerts their was a little girl in a wheel chair sitting in the front row. He looked at her, walked over to her, took off his $47,000 ring & gave it to her! Then at another Concert he asked his friend if he brought his jewerly case with him & asked ten where is it! he replied,"Right here with me under my seat!" Elvis said,"Bring it up & set it on stage!' So the guy did ! Elvis opened up the case, tore all of the tags off & placed them back into the case. Then he began handing out the rings to the people in the front row! After the show the guy rode with Elvis in the Limo, something he has never done, but that night he did. He said,"Elvis you sure gave away a lot of jewerly tonight! ""How are you going to pay for all this?" Elvis said,'Guess I'll half to perform a little longer tomorrow night!" You will learn so much about Elvis, his ways his charity more than just the cars we all knew about, that he gave away! II would recommend this DVD TO ANYONE & EVERYONE! Those who are growing up their younger years from age 10-Teenagers who never knew Elvis or some never heard of him (As their are) Young Adults also..would be a movie for them to see! I To Learn the life of Elvis! Those today, that grew up with Elvis from the age of 13 in 1956..have lived Elvis' life throughout the years with him form the begining of his career to the very end!! Knowing how poor he was..and yet how famous he became in so little time! It happened so fast, I don't even think he even realized it! He only lived for the moment! And I feel, not really knowing the true answer to this theory, but look....Gladys had became quite sick, and had gained a lot of weight! She died suddenly at the age of 42!! Elvis also later gained weight! We all know he had taken drugs, that didn't help. But also ate those greasy Peanut Butter & Banana Sand-witches & that wasn't at all good for his weight , or is it good for any of us either!! Elvis had resembled his mom in looks ( his face & eyes & weight) Elvis died at the same age of 42!!! Maybe Elvis had the same disease as his mom did!! We don't know for sure, but logically think about it??? As I said before I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS DVD TO ANYONE! A 6 STAR RATING & BEYOND!! And for All You Need Is Love I would rate that a NO Although,if anyone likes short stories & basic pieces of interviews, then you may like that DVD! But I will leave the choice as Rick Nelson would say..."IT'T UP TO YOU!!!! Daisy
