Looks great, obviously great movie that holds up well.

If you like jaws then think jaws on land. The transfer is top notch the 4k upgrade is definitely top quality. My only negative is that the scream factory damaged the packaging bc the slipcover is in great shape but the case was not.

Alligator is a classic cult film that has only grown in stature over the decades. Unusually smart character details and good performances enhance this "gargantuan alligator in the were system' horror flick. Picked up at Best Buy for an unbeatable price. Special features are enjoyable, particularly the interview with Bryan Cranston, who was working as a special effects assistant on the film.

A true gem of a horror movie from 1980! The movie looks fairly good now in this format. There's more detail, of course throughout. A former pet alligator makes its way to the sewer system and becomes a lethal giant terrorizing all who enter. Homicide detective played by Robert Forster is on the case to find the monster along with Robin Riker, a doctor specializing in alligators. She plays the red head eye candy in the movie. Lots of other actors of the era 1977-1980. This is a 3 Disc set, 1 4K and 2 Blu-rays. 1 of the Blu-rays is the Special features. Artwork on all discs. Slipcover included when I got mine. Good monster movie if you want to relive some of that 1980 horror! I recommend!

Missed out on DVD copies of this film years ago, & heard so much about it. When it was announced for 4K from Scream Factory I knew I had to get my hands on a copy. Was so surprised to see Best Buy actually have copies available in the store. Picked it up and watched it that night after work, & it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT! Highly recommend this movie to horror fans!

The movie Alligator had every kid wondering what would happen if your pet was flushed down the toilet. It is a cheesy version of JAWS, but with an alligator. It only had a DVD release and now it is presented in glorious 4K. It is not a movie that was expecting to win any awards, but it is definitely worthy of being a part of your library for nostalgia reasons.

Great by the numbers 1980s B flick like they used to make and make fun. First of the rouge alligator Film and one of the many “Jaws ripoffs” shows what can be done on a small budget. Film never look better on both 4K and blueray (with a television version with “extra footage” interviews,trailers make an excellent package.

A fun creature feature that did for alligators what "Jaws" did for sharks. Not as excellent as the latter, but still an enjoyable feature of 80s schlock. Shout/Scream Factory delivers with an assortment of extras to make the purchase worthwhile. Total recommendation for creature feature fans and horror movie fans alike.

I took a chance on this release because I had never seen the film growing up but I’m so glad I did! It was a blast! Of course the special effects are cheesy and the plot a little hokey but the actors really sell the film, especially Robert Forster. The 4K transfer and audio was exceptional, and special features a-plenty!

An enormous alligator is on the loose and only one man (Robert Forster) can stop it! Alligator is cheesy cult classic fun! And this release from Shout Factory/Scream Factory is loaded with special features. And the best part is this monstrous movie has never looked better! This release has some serious bite!

Watched this film when I was young back in the 80s and then during the late 90s and when it was re-released on DVD, the resolution was still VHS quality but this time around the picture looks amazing it really has brought this film back to life. The story and special effects are great for the 80s a must-watch.

Another winner from Scream Factory...this time it is a much-needed 4K upgrade of Lewis Teague's monster on-the-loose classic from 1980...for a movie that didn't have a domestic Blu-Ray release prior to this I'd say we are truly blessed with this release.

I watched this movie a very long time ago on TV about 17 years ago or so and I can't remember much about it but one thing that I love that Best Buy is doing is that it carries Scream Factory blurays occasionally so to spot them in the wild makes me happy since I love physical media

This is a great creature feature. I remember watching this on tv when I was younger, now after so many years to be able to watch this again it still holds up and even looks better than ever. Plus two different cuts of the film it’s a win win. 4K also looks freaking amazing.

Hadn't seen this in a very long time, so it was a real treat to see it again in probably the best quality it'll ever appear on video. The native 4K transfer is excellent. The sound is apparently the original sound mix, which sounds good for the age and budget of this film.

If you grew up watching murky movie-of-the-week versions of great B-movies like this, you’ll find this is a revelation. 4K, looks like it played in the theater yesterday, and a ton of supplements including one with a certain Breaking Bad actor. Highly recommended.

I have fond memories of this movie from the first time I saw it back in the day at the local drive-in. Love the characters in it, even the weird pacing. The effects for a low budget movie are still excellent. The 4k transfer is gorgeous. This is an absolute must have.

A classic hidden horror gem. It’s got Robert Forrester at his best cheesy FX funny storyline and overall just great movie. If you’re a fan of cheesy horror, movies, Robert Forster, or alligators this is a must see.

If you're a fan of Alligator and 4K, your ship has come in. It's never looked better and is packed with a ton of bonuses. If you've never seen it, and you like low budget Corman movies, this is a must. Highly recommend.

I had never seen this before and saw it received great reviews. It was a fun movie. The transfer was outstanding. It looked like it was filmed recently. I enjoyed this movie and happy to have in the collection.
