Lots of action and a love story! Good for a date night!

The best scene of this story is at the end, when John Krasinski and Bradley Cooper have a wonderful encounter where no words are spoken and still a lot is being communicated. And Emma Stone is at her best in this movie; she's funny and a positive force throughout. Hawaii is like a character in this story and after having watched this film you'll love to book the first flight out!

The characters were likable people. The relationships between the characters were interesting. The plot was simple and sweet. It is a romantic comedy, so it's easy to see how things are going to turn out, but the ending was still a pleasant surprise. There are plenty of things throughout the movie that made me laugh.

Watched Aloha, and was actually a little surprised. I had read reviews that said it wasn't good at all. I liked it very much, and enjoyed the shots of Hawaii immensely. I actually don't pay much attention to the "experts" anyway though. I would highly recommend this movie.

A romantic and entertaining film starring Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone. I enjoyed watching it: Hawaiian locations (since I feel will never get a chance to get there). I recommend at least watching it (not persuading to own it). This video was given as a gift.

I was drawn to this movie, basically, because I love Hawaii. The story was secondary to me. I know...silly. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I suppose I shouldn't have been with such a talented cast. The movie contained so many elements: love, growth, humor, human interaction and love of the land. The characters interacted excellently and the plot developed consistently throughout the film, as did the characters. I recommend this movie to everyone! It's a movie you feel good about watching!

I think the movie was good and i did enjoy it but i felt it moved a bit slow at times as well as they made Emma Stones character a bit annoying. Not sure if it was meant to be but it did not quite fit in the beginning, after a bit she was much more likeable.

Saw it on an airplane for first time and decided to get a copy. Single viewing not enough as there is so many massages hidden within it takes a couple of times to fully understand all the meaning and implications. Good for single watch also. Good movie.

Don't listen to what the critics wrote about this movie. I enjoyed from start to finish! Everything from the acting to the script, to cinematography and the use of Hawaii as an actual character of the movie!

I read the critiques of the movie, but was informed by friends that the movie was better than what critics rated it. My friends were right! It is a better movie than the ratings. Quite a surprise!

The movie to me was okay, just okay! The Bradley Cooper - Emma Stone connection just didn't come off as anything approaching normal human interaction. Emma Stone was entirely miscast in the part of a fast-burner Air Force officer. I'm retired USAF and I promise you, young Captains, especially women Captains do not act nor conduct themselves in the demeanor she exhibited in this film. Except for her performance and a joke of a plot, the movie is watchable but you won't be bulled over with that feely good emotion at the end. It's average!

With all the bad reviews, was hesitant to buy. But being from Hawaii, I had to get this movie. Glad I did. Used many local actors. If you're missing Hawaii, this is the movie for you.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie and will watch it many more times. Good movie if you just want to relax and enjoy the scenery and the fun.

Entertaining movie with a decent storyline. Any movie featuring Rachel McAdams and Emma Stone has some merit from purely that standpoint. Marvelous cinematography.

I liked this movie but have to admit that it was not as funny as I thought it would be. Not sure it lived up to the hype but it is one I can share with others.

This film got a lot of negative reviews when it came out in theaters, but i went and saw it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely worth a watch.

Good movie, some of the acting is a little over the top but it was a good story with a good ending. Great cast

I bought this movie because of the cast, Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams, Emma Stone, etc. and was worried that it would be too much of a chick flick for my husband and son. I loved it, it was funny and touching. The guys liked it and when asked they said it was not what they would categorize as a chick flick; and of course my daughter and her boyfriend like it too ... so a great choice for me and my family.

You don't see romantic comedies address the privitaization of military operations and have the protagonist yearn for a married woman. Aloha's ambition exceeds its execution. Overall it's still enjoyable, but Emma Stone is horribly miscast as a part native Hawaiian Air Force fighter pilot. Stone's performance is so genuinely awful it nearly derails the whole movie. Some nice supporting performances, snappy dialogue and a handful of emotional scenes save the film.

Viewed the dvd rental and was somewhat impressed with this film although I have not seen it entirely. We'll see what tranpires with my purchase!
