I enjoy this concept of a mediator who seeks win/win solutions, verses judge or jury decisions.

One of the better shows on SyFy. It has great characters, acting and special effects. I hope that it lasts for many seasons!

Pretty typical for a SyFy channel original show. The plot is nothing new, a bunch of different people with special powers. We've seen it before. The writing and acting are very average. The discs have a good number of special features for a TV show release.

"Alphas" is a fun action-packed science fiction TV series about a group of individuals gifted with special mental abilities. Working with the government, they use their special abilities to solve crimes. "Alphas" is filled with fast paced action and some great special affects. The picture quality looks good. Details are sharp and the colors are vibrant. The sound is also good. Extras include deleted scenes and an extended pilot episode. The TV series only lasted two seasons. It is still a great show, maybe someday they will bring it back.

Good solid series. I am looking forward to season 2.
