Speakers are overall very good. The performance is more related to the size than anything else. Based on the vehicle these were going in this was the only size that would fit. Alpine puts out a very respectable product - of course mids and highs are great and bass is all it can be with this size speaker.

Clear, crisp sound quality with small range of base.

I have a 2013 Victory Cross Country with upgraded Kicker Speakers I put the kicker speakers in my trunk and these Alpine speakers up front and they sound great even without my trunk on upgrade without doing amps subwoofers and all the other ridiculous stuff people are doing

These are considerably better speaker than the factory pair in the Polaris Slingshot. This is an open air vehicle making it challenging to have clear high quality listening at 40 mph and above. Still these are noticeably better that the original speakers.

I have never bought Alpine speakers before usually I buy Infinity Infinity does not make this​ size speaker not a bad sound for my Jeep Wrangler I can understand the music without Distortion going down the highway at 70 miles an hour with my top down

I installed the speakers into my car personally. I had a little problem because the tweeters are in a separate location but I figured it out. I did not need the screws and mounting clips that came with the speakers but I did used the wires.

these speakers are really nice, I don't even have an amp connected to them. it was a great deal for the price no regrets

These went into a noise semi tractor. They are good if you want to actually hear your music on that setting. They really need a sub woofer added in conjunction with them. I am happy with them over the factory paper cone speakers I replaced.

Upgraded my 4Runner rear doors with these speakers and was surprised at the sound dynamics they give. Definitely worth the price and effort of changing out the old speakers.

Replaced the rear door speakers in my car with these and so far they sound great, even at high volume they hold the bass together pretty well for such small speakers.

Great sound with any kind of music. Lots of bass or no bass still clear sound and no distortion heard.

The speakers sound awesome without an amplifier. I am using a pioneer aftermarket radio and its perfect with the alpine speakers.

Alpine is a great product with great sound. I highly recommend these speakers and wish Bestbuy sold the type R models too.

This is my first time purchasing Alpine speakers I've heard so much good things about them I have them in the front two side doors and the sound sounds awesome

Speakers sound great. They sound better than somewhat cheap 6 1/2” speakers that were in the car. They can handle a little bass as well.

They are good speakers but they sound like they're about to go out so good thing I got the 2 year warranty.

I love these speakers, built to last still pumping out the tunes. Solid build and no risk to blowing out the coils.
