Doesn't come w/ but needs a high power wall plugin

I discovered that the block that came with my phone doesn't have enough power to run this pad. The block gets hot and does a thermal protection shutdown after a couple of hours. You have to have a higher powered than normal wall plug in block to use this product. However, it does work when plugged into my car's USB. Combining that with the suction cups on it, makes for a good option in the car. I'm rating it a poor value because a high power block costs more to buy than the charging pad did.

I reached out to the manufacturer, and they are saying that "we are Sakar International took over the brand Altec Lansing. We manufacture and support portable Bluetooth speakers, and this product is not supported or manufactured by us." If this manufacturer is still around somewhere please let me know how I could get a replacement unit.
