How best can be the sound of a small speaker - answer is this speaker. I love the sound capability and its size. Battery backup is good but do carry the extn. Being water resistant is an excellent feature as you tend to take this small speaker everywhere. I had to return this product for "XYZ" reasons but I got my brother and friend to buy this :-) Jokes apart, its a good handy product to have - specially if you enjoy quality time at the pool or outing.

Surprisingly decent sound from such small unit. Already been tested by my teen to survive a 3 foot fall onto concrete without an issue. Charge lasts about 8 hours on a medium volume. A good value.

Sounds pretty decent for it's size, perfect for sharing videos on YouTube and music in a medium size ,easily fits in a pocket or purse

Great product in such a small package. With over 6 hrs of charge, it gives you plenty of listening time. Small enough to drop in a pocket with sound that is unbelievable.

don't let the size of this little speaker fool you. This speaker packs a punch and puts out some great quality sound. Size makes it very portable and easy to pair up with any device. Another awesome feature is that you can pair up more than one of these speakers to your device to give a full surround sound experience with an awesome boost in sound.

I purchased this as a gift for my teen and he loves it. This speaker has excellent sound quality and volume. It was extremely easy to pair with his phone. And with only three buttons it’s incredibly user friendly. It looks quite durable and is supposed to be water proof which is an awesome feature. All around great speaker I’d highly recommend it.

This speaker packs a pretty good punch for its size. It gets good volume without distortion. It’s a nice little size so it’s great for travel with no bulk. The carabiner type carrier is convenient. And the name has a good reputation as a good speaker. This was a gift for my bf and he really likes it. I like it too.

Good sound. Can't wait to try it next summer on the boat and jet ski. Bought it because of the size and being waterproof.

I purchased this for my preteen daughter as a Valentine's Day gift. She absolutely LOVES it! --it is the perfect size to be portable in a purse, hooks wirelessly to her phone, her apple watch, & iPad. She can take it to the shower, the pool, or just wherever she's at b/c it's waterproof as well! Pretty perfect for a music lover.

Awesome sound for its size. It’s very compact and all-proof speaker. Great for travel, water adventure, extreme sports. I actually bring it to my travels and I use it to listen while in the shower or bath. Awesome buy for $25 and great quality.

I am a fan of Altec, but don't expect high end sound quality. Solid, good sound and convenient for everyday use. Strong bass and fair mid range. Not a boombox, and will get some distortion at high volume.

This is my second small Altec Lansing speaker, the other one still works I just wanted another which should tell you how much I recommend these. It's a great buy, it's small, rugged, water-resistant, cheap, and (most importantly) it sounds good! Can't recommend this enough!

Bought 2, 1 for each daughter, and my girls love them. They mostly use them when bathing and 1 accidentally was dropped in the water. It is water resistant so my daughter was beyond happy that it kept playing under water! Very good sound for such a small and lightweight speaker.

If you want booming sound that fills a large room with deep bass and clear treble, this is probably not the speaker for you. However, if you want this for a small space, or perhaps on your desk or the bookcase behind the desk, this fits the bill. It's small and portable, and the sound is pretty good. I like the way the sounds come out of the front and back of the speaker. This means that if you put it against a flat surface, like the inside of a bookcase or a wall, the sound will reflect off that surface and give a more "full" sound. I haven't used it for long stretches of time, but the battery life seems great. When I first took it out of the package and connected it to my phone, the battery was around 80%.

I needed a compact speaker that would fit in my pocket or attach to my belt-loop and this did both. It packs a punch (demoed the store display) without distortion and appears to be pretty durable. Easy and consistent paired connection, A+

Sounds are loud and great. Easy to connect and clips right on my golf bag.

When I originally purchased the Clip 3, I had difficulty deciding between it and the Altec Baby Boom. I was looking for a speaker that I could use in the shower and take around the house. Both speakers sound great for their size. The Baby Boom packs quite a surprising punch. However the sound is a bit compromised at higher volumes. The Clip 3 sounds a little bit better overall however the price point of the Baby Boom is very attractive. The Baby Boom is waterproof and handles water well. I absolutely love it size as it is great for traveling as I travel for work quite a bit. So if you are looking for a compact speaker, with a decent sound, and youre on a budget then these speakers are for you.

This speaker is small, but boasts a decent sound profile. The bass is strong, and the volume projects well. The bass is actually strong enough to vibrate this speaker across a smooth surface, so be mindful. We use this speaker in the Master bathroom upstairs, and it can be heard fairly well downstairs. The battery life suffers slightly, as it requires recharging every few days with minimal usage, and every few hours with continual usage. Luckily the carabiner attachment allows it to be hooked on a towel rack while plugged in, maintaining ease of access while charging.

Don't little the size discourage you from purchasing this speaker! There were a couple of things that I was looking for when it comes to a Bluetooth speaker. First I wanted one that was waterproof, second it didn't need to be big, and third I wanted it to be able to float. This one does all three! I can take it out to the pool or hot tub and can connect up to 30 feet away. I don't have to worry about the kids getting it wet or me dropping it or my phone into the hot tub. It is compact in size but delivers great quality sound.

If you are looking for a great sound, durable and mobile device to place almost anywhere this is it. Biking, hiking, etc. or anyplace you may carry a backpack where you can hang it on this is the speaker to enjoy your music while being active.
