I own about 4 pairs of earbuds, 2 of which were very expensive and I was unhappy with them. To be quite honest, spending over $40 for earbuds, to me, seems to be a waste of money. The last pair I purchased at Brooks, for about $70, turned out be the worst purchase ever and I couldn't return them. I read the reviews at Bestbuy for the Altec's and really thought about it before purchasing because of reviews claiming that the sound was 'tinny'. Based on the claim that it fits small ears and overall positive ratings, I made the purchase. I found that when I first used them I thought the sound was a bit tinny but that seemed to disappear after a few days of use - don't know why. The size is perfect and their many different sizes in the kit. Just be careful as the extra cushions are delicate and tear easily. Overall I rate these buds a 5. Very good purchase.

Would buy again. They have great sound quality. great for the music enthusiast

Amazing sound for a light-weight, mid-range priced earbud. My only suggestion would be to include a foam tip or offer some for sale as an accessory.

The sound is wonderful and they actually stay in my ears even on long runs. I especially like the quality and flexibility of the cord.

Wife likes size and sound. I like more bass, since it was a gift she wins.Quality product.

Great bass! No distortion! Material cord is the best especially if your in a rush, if i quickly wrap this around my ipod it never tangles! The pouch is even awesome. And, did I mention they are adorable? Lol I love these

I have tried multiple types/brands of earbuds which I use while running outside or at the gym. The sales associate assured me that these were different/better/durable. After trying the various sizes which are provided with the earbuds, I still have yet to find one that actually stays in place. I am constantly having to reposition these during my workouts and once you begin to sweat, forget about it--they slide right out of place immediately. Sound quality is fair at best, lacks bass. VERY disaapointed in these headphones and would NOT recommend them to anyone. Especially at this price!!

I have had these for about a month and absolutely hate them. The left earbud has already quit working. Mind you I always take very good care of them and they have never been wet. Also they have horrible bass and leave you wanting more. The cloth chord is nice but it doesnt seem to be helping much. Do NOT buy these.

Purchased these for my son for Christmas; they were on sale, plus I had a gift card, so I was excited that I was able to buy him a relatively high-end pair of earbuds at an affordable price. He loved them and they sounded great. However, 3 weeks after Christmas, the left earbud stopped working. Although Best Buy has said they will refund the money, we're disappointed overall.

Very comfortable! Too bad the sound is so tinny! Very disappointing for Altec Lansing; the low end buds that came with my phone sound better.

I went to Best Buy looking for headphones that wouldn't break, and every employee said to buy these. While they still lasted longer than most headphones I have, they eventually broke after about 4 months and completely stopped working after 6. I don't use them often and pretty much only with my computer at home so they aren't used for rigorous activity or anything like that but they still broke. Not worth the money, you are better off buying a 10$ pair.

I have a problem with keeping earbuds in my ears while running or working out at the gym. I was told by an associate that this "double plunger" design helps to keep the ear buds in place, unfortunately, she was wrong. These earbuds fell out of my ears just as much as my Sonys did. The sound quality is poor and the durability is awful. I take very good care of my ear buds but I still lost sound to one bud within 3 months of purchase. Save yourself money and a headache and SKIP these easr buds!!!

Just came in mail. Was excited about these. Only 1 ear piece worked, right out of the box. Had to go to the store to return them, not happy.
