The best test of any speaker is to test and make a purchase decision in the exact location/environment you intend to use it in because of musical acoustics and frequencies being washed out etc. - not just on the store shelf. With that said, I wanted a BT speaker that primarily sounded great in my noisy work environment. This unit performs much better than anyone would think possible. It's amazing and the dynamic range of the music is balance perfectly - not to much base or treble, midrange is exactly were I would set it if using an equalizer. It's physical size is just right! It fits comfortably into my backpack thus allowing me to easily carry from home to work etc. without any 'hassles'. Use it very often in my home garage on weekends and in the pickup when I want portable Blue Tooth! Excellant price/performance ratio.

Love love love this speaker. I purchased it for the specific purpose of taking it on a canoeing trip since a waterproof speaker was essential for tunes. Of course someone rocked the boat and the speaker went in the water. It floated next to us for a few minutes and all was good with drying it out in the sun after getting it out of the water.

Very easy to use and setup. My iPhone recognized it immediately. The sound is great for the size of the speaker. Good amount of bass, also. What's really awesome is the mounting kit that comes with it. It will mount just about anywhere. I put it on the handlebars of my mountain bike and couldn't be happier. Rockin' while I roll! Great purchase! Recommend!

I looked at quite a few Bluetooth speakers before I bought the Mini Lifejacket 3. Aesthetically speaking, most were hideous, with terrible lines and shapes. Also, many just didn’t sound all that great. Tinny sounding. The Lifejacket 3 has a good sound, especially when you connect it with other Lifejacket speakers, up to 50 apparently. It’s sturdy, aesthetically pleasing AND, if you happen to drop in in the pool or lake it FLOATS! Amazing. One important thing, though, you must be careful when plugging the micro usb cord into the port. It’s kind of delicate and easy to damage - both the port and cord. I’ve already damaged mine. That was kinda disappointing. It still functions, I just have to be super careful when I plug it in. The cool thing is the battery life is roughly 16 hours, so you don’t have to be constantly plugged in. Still, I recommend this product.

So we've been looking for a blue tooth speaker for some time and had some serious gift cards to BB. Decided to go with this one because of the cool appeal to it as well as the perceived quality. We were not disappointed! This thing is pretty sweet and quite loud. I jam to this thing all the time in my woodshed and it blasts over the saws. Covered in sawdust it still works just fine and I'm sure if I threw it into the sand it would do the same. You can buy crummy stuff, or you can buy this speaker. Spend a little extra, you'll be glad you did.

Ok so my wife once again needed a new speaker for her phone and not because her's broke or anything but because even with 16 hour battery life she tends to forget to charge it and then has to borrow someone else in house's speaker. So now she has a dark blue and light blue speaker and no more dead speakers. I also have one of these and the sound quality, durability and long battery life make it a win for anyone looking for a good and long lasting speaker.

This speaker exceeded my wildest expectations! I had purchased another brand speaker from a reputable manufacturing, which cost at least $50 more and sound quality was disappointing, which prompted an immediate return an refund. My daughter friend had mentioned this product after I had told her my initial experience with another brand... Bought the recommended brand for much less and blew me away with its quality of sound even at max volume it's loudness still retaining incredible bass, mid's and treble sound quality. Great Buy at Reasonable Price!

Very good deal on the cost of the speaker. It was originally over $100 and got it for $50 around Christmas time. I was very impressed on the play time of 16 hrs. This little speaker has the sound of a larger speaker. This is the best wireless speaker I have. I would be interested getting it paired with another alter Lansing speaker. I would highly recommend this speaker to anyone.

The Mini Jacket 3 packs a big sound in a small package. Charges relatively quickly and lasts a good 8+ hours on a charge. Rugged casing proved its worth on a couple dropped incidents. Very satisfied with the purchase. Only annoying thing is the Altec Lansing announcement on every turn-on - minor nit on an otherwise great speaker.

This was a gift from my daughters. It has a really surprisingly huge sound with good balance. Great range. Waterproof not just water resistant. Great, long battery life. Use with my Sirrus and music sites and also for yankee games. Taking to Cape Cod for beach then on boat on lake. Great for back deck too. Impressive and looks cool.

I had one of these before and lost it to my brother in a scam he pulled, such is brotherly love! That is said jokingly, I was happy to give it to him to take on a trip out of the country. After about 2 months without it I knew I needed another. Being the careful, prudent shopper I am I did read reviews on the other latest and greatest out there. I didn't see anything I liked better and this unit was still getting rave reviews so I bought it. I am really glad I bought this as it is exactly the same as my previous one and I absolutely love it. The bluetooth works flawlessly, I can use it as a speaker phone (yeah, most phones can do that on their own but not with this level of clarity and volume) and it is waterproof. Living in FL I take it out on the boat all the time and never have to worry about it. Anchor out and go up to a secluded beach, take it with me and have great music on the beach. The battery life is good enough that I can use it all day. I love this speaker, you wouldn't go wrong getting one!

Bought these speakers for listening to music with my cell phone. I am so surprised with the sound quality of these speakers. Great sound from such small speakers. Good volume. Good battery life. I really like the rubberized armor coating. I definitely recommend this product.

I can’t say enough good things about this speaker. It’s water resistant, drop resistant, and is very loud for its size. I have listened to music while on my riding lawn mower. Easy connect to Bluetooth and long lasting battery. I love this thing!

I liked this speaker so much because it has great sound, it's water proof and it has a great battery life. I have one already so when my granddaughter ask for a Bluetooth speaker this one was my first choice . . .

Fantastic speaker! Definitely waterproof (tested it by throwing it in the pool). Great sound quality for using in a close range such as by the pool or at the beach. Excellent battery life as well.
