I have owned a Soundblade for about 6 months and I love it. I have a few other portable speakers (apple hi-fi, a couple of Sony systems) and this gets the most use of any. I bought to use at work to play music & podcasts from my iPhone and it worked great for that use. It is nice to hear the phone ring through the speaker so that the music does not drown it out, but I seldom used the speakerphone feature of the speaker. I have since brought this home and I use it while working in the garage, in the kitchen, or out by the pool. It is nice to be able to control my music directly from the phone in my pocket so that I do not need to be near the speaker to skip a song, and the range is pretty good--without obstructions, easily 50 ft. This will never be the speaker you use at a party, but it does have good quality sound with more than adequate volume for personal or small group use. My friend liked it so well he bought one as an easy way to have music in his billiards room stream from his Droid and it is never brought up to full volume, even with several of us in the room goofing off.
