Great for the beach or at home connects to any device

The Altec Lansing SoundBucket XL Waterproof Bluetooth Portable Speaker is so cool! It has 20 hours of battery life, and a 60 Watt – 360 degree music listening experience. It has a down firing subwoofer for bass booming sound, as well as QI wireless charging and USB smartphone charging. There are FIVE LED illuminating light modes, which is super fun, and the speaker is IP67 waterproof. It is VERY cool. Just because summer is almost over doesn’t mean parties are.

Ok I bought two of these so I gave it a good chance the first one I bought didn't last not even a week I think within the first couple days the bottom bass area got loss, so I turned it in for a new one, this one within about three weeks of me owning it the speakers sounded like they were cracking on the on the vocal cords you could have play it on high or sounded bad

Unfortunately I cannot return this to store at the moment. I had it plugged in for a day, using it while plugged in. It was supposed to have a 20hr battery life, as soon as I tried testing the portable side of this speaker, I noticed the battery indicator on my phone showed it almost dead, I went inside to get a cup of coffee, came back to a dead speaker. I tested known working outlets, still no power. Only had this for a few days and it is now a huge paper weight.

This thing on paper looks great and should be amazing. However, I had to exchange this thing twice and each time the sound quality was just terrible. I don’t think I got two consecutive units that were defective. Ended up getting my money back. You might want to buy this, but look else where or even other altec lansing products. I have the rock box XL and it is supreme !

Sounds good BUT battery dies at 4 hrs. Thats just with the speakers in use. No lights no charging a fon. I need to return it.

This is a super loud speaker and is great for any outdoor event or party. Easy design to carry and move around. Really enjoyed the style and the features such as using Siri and just the way it lights up. Makes for the perfect house warming gift and I will definitely be using to jam out.

I received the Altec Lansing Soundbucket XL from the Best Buy Bloggers Program. I love the versatility of the Soundbucket. It has fantastic sound! The big plus is that it is waterproof (what!?) and rugged, which means my husband can use it on his work bench and we don't have to worry about dust or a spill. The speaker is protected! The wireless charging means you don't have to worry about your phone pooping out mid playlist Overall, it's a great speaker, a bit heavy, but that is to be expected with how it performs. What bummed me out was not being able to get Alexa/Amazon music to sync, which means I couldn't access my music subscription. Other than that, it's pretty awesome!

In the past, I’ve mostly used my phone to play music around the house and in the backyard. Whether we are dancing in the living room, swimming at the pool or playing in the backyard, the SoundBucket takes the experience to another level. The music is so much more clear, crisp, strong and resonant. The SoundBucket plays our favorite songs straight from any Bluetooth device while pumping an amazing sound through its 50 watt RMS speaker. My kids also enjoy the glowing LED and strobe lights. The battery power is also very impressive. The speaker never worked. Never turned on, buttons don’t work. Manufacturer expects me to send the product for warranty paying $50 for shipping.

I love the sound and ability to take our music on the go (You bring the party no matter what the environment...Rain/Snow/Pool beach) - Adding the wireless charging abilities always keeps you ready for more as you can charge your wireless devices. Waterproof and ability to add up to 50 speakers, that's something to be excited for. Plus controlling the speak via Siri or Google Assistant is just so helpful!

My family and I loved this speaker both for the price and for the audio quality. We love taking it with us when we travel or just sitting on our patio deck.

My family loves this speaker to use at parties and for holidays because it offers great "surround sound". It's heavy, but has a handy handle on it so we can just tote it to whichever room we want to listen to music in. My kids love the lights on the top that change colors. It was super easy to setup.
