Hopefully it really is water proof. Dont let the sound fool you in the store. Its not that great..sorry is what it is

Soaked in the bathtub for over 30 minutes and came back. Works fine. Dropped it from our two-story roof. No damage works fine. Will be getting another so he can pair them which is frickin awesome!

I have not exposed it to salt water yet but I suspect it will not survive if this door does not seal properly. Very suspect. Glad I purchased the extended warranty

Also now it freezes and I have to let the battery run out to reset it. Also when I turn the volume up a like a normal person the battery lasts about 4 hrs if it doesn't freeze. Would not recommend this.

So if you don't have any type of inverter then your out of luck. The Bluetooth for calls is horrible, but plays Netflix nicely.
