Not that loud what we expected, The display at the store was loud enough to hear the music, this one it seems like just regular radio at home, I'm not recommending it, sorry.

This is my 3rd speaker from this company. The speaker is great for about a year. After that they just stop working! Pretty expensive speaker to only have it last for a year.

Oddly enough, when I discovered that this product would not charge anymore, my first move was to contact the manufacturer. I did and they never sent the shipping box as promised. To ease the process, I also attempted to get the sales receipt from Best Buy and they had no record that I purchased this product but sure as anything, Best Buy wants me to review it. I won’t recommend this, or any other product purchased from Best Buy due to the utter lack of customer service. Thanks for nothing.

I've had nothing but issues with this speaker. Hard to pair and won't stay connected. Tried different devices such as Apple and Android.

This was my second player. First one the battery only lasted 30 MAX of play. Second unit would play approx 24 then be dead. If the company advertises 50 hours but they mean that you can only okay it at 2-4 hour intervals they need to say so. I was camping with both at different times and played it 12 hours at a time.. They both had dead batteries at noon in the third day. 30 hours and less of play time. Not worth the 300.00!!!!

My husband purchased this for me for my birthday. It worked for less than a day. When it stopped working it was just loud static. The customer service rep suggested we drain the battery to try it again, which took about 50 hours to do. It then still didn’t work. When going back to the store to return it we were given the hardest time ever because it was just a few days out of their 15 day return policy.

Used this speaker for about an hour before the speakers stopped functioning. the speaker still turns on and off and will connect to bluetooth just no audio. Contacted altec support and currently draining battery but from previous reviews I don't expect that to fix anything. Will most likely return this and buy Sony. Altec is selling a malfunctioning speaker and is not fixing the issue.

buzzed and crackled after only 10 minutes of use. music was unrecognizable from that point on. smelled hot and seemed to have pretty much fried. drove an hour to purchase and planned on using it on a weekend get away next day. very frustrating to have given this company a chance over jbl or bose. wont make the same mistake twice and i hope to save someone from making it once

This was my second speaker as Best Buy had to return another one of these because of issues right away. The speaker had malfunctions from the very moment I took it out of the box. I have also had to return that one which I am now on my third one. I would not recommend this item to anyone. I haven't even made it past the 2 weeks on any of the speakers I've been given.

Speaker stopped working less then 6 months..now have to claim it under warranty....

bad sound quality because it is waterproof so the sub can't breath creating a rattle or distortion.

I received this for my Birthday and within 14 days I was unable to link with my iPhone even with the app and then I decided it was linked but would not play sound. Then I took it back and got another one. I linked phone with it one time and used it but the next time I used it I was unable to.link it. I returned it.

I wouldn’t even set this anywhere near water. Only lasted about a week.

I had only had this speaker for a short time. As soon as I let the battery run out, it no longer played sound. It would come on, but no sound came out. After reading about this issue, I found out it was a common issue. I would not recommend buying this speaker.

Your better buying a bose speaker for a better quality sound.

I have to return it due to the speaker will not hold a charge.

The speaker worked great for 4 months, then one day it just stopped working. Their support hotline's only suggestion was to drain the battery and recharge it. That did not work. Altec Lansing will replace it, but I have to pay for shipping both ways. What a waste.

My first speaker never worked. Wouldn’t pair up with anyone’s phone. Traded it for another one and it quit working in less than a year. Took it back and traded it for the Bose and couldn’t be happier. Do Not Buy The Super Life Jacket.

Purchased a pair of these. One of them stopped working one year and one month after purchase. It would not turn on anymore. They told me it's not their problem. Also, when setup in stereo mode (using two speakers at once)
