In world full of particle board, DIY furniture, this piece is definitely very attractive, super durable, and looks like an authentic piece of retro class. It looks beautiful in my living room as it shoulders the 65" tv and hides all the cables nestled inside from the stereo receiver, DVD, & PS3.

I was very pleased with the unit, however, there was some damange. Since it was in the back of the cabinet and could not be seen, I did not report it. Great piece if you want to have all your items closed in. Lots of storage for VCR, game console, etc....

Fit and finish were flawless. Included black touch up paint was not needed for now. Assembly instructions were very easy to follow and the whole process was about an hour without a frustrating moment. Sliding doors are very smooth. Very heavy but solid.

If you are looking for a nicely finished product, I would pass on this. The workmanship is ok at best. I returned the first one I bought because it isn't completely finished in some areas. Its as if they needed to spray it one more time. The second one I received had the exact same problem. Also the paint gathered in some places to form globs of paint. On top of it this is a very heavy stand so its a lot of work dealing with returning it etc. I believe the exact same stand in oak is a lot nicer. For some reason they cant handle the process of painting the stand.

Easy to put together. So glad I bought it. never even seen stand in person just on line. LOOKS GREAT.
