this is the perfect mount for a large TV

Didn't get a chance to see it put together
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a freestanding unit and this did state that it was a "Freestanding" unit but when the product arrived and I started putting it together the instruction stated it NEEDED to be bolted to studs in the wall. Very disappointed it didn't state this in the specificaiton online

I would definately irecommend it to anyone in need of a wall mount flat screen TV mount and stand.

Took it back got a stand that didnt require mounting to a wall. If u have a home with walls with studs in the right place it would be a great stand.

Nice stand
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a 42 " tv and not alot of room. This tv stand/mount solved the problem. Ordering online and delivery were a snap. except for the mounting hardware, set up was easy. The mounting screws were not sufficient for mounting the stand to the wall. A quick trip to the hardware store solved the problem. I am very happy with the purchase.

Major design flaw
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This stand was great but has a major design flaw. There are no front legs, it is not free standing. It must be screwed into the wall, which is not a bad idea, but may not be ideal for renters. The problem is with no front legs, the leverage of the heavy TV on top will pull the screws out of the wall during a moderate earthquake, even with it screwed into the studs. It destroyed my 7 month old $1500 TV.
