This adapter works well in many situations and makes using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly much easier. Setup is straightforward, and the connection is generally stable once paired. However, it doesn’t work with all car screens, which can be frustrating if your vehicle isn’t fully compatible. While it’s a good solution for supported cars, the limited compatibility means it’s not a universal fix. Overall, it’s decent, but be sure to check if your car is supported before buying.

I own several wireless adapters, each working with some success on either Apple Car Play or Android Auto. This one caught my eye at the right time- I had been using an iPhone and switched to an Android phone, and I wanted to enjoy a wireless connection with my new phone. This device is the size of a small thumb drive. I have native wired Apple Car Play and Android Auto in my 2023 Toyota Camry. Other devices had allowed me to enjoy a wireless connection, but required attaching the device to to the USB-A female connection on my car using a cable. With this device, I could just plug it in directly, pair it over Bluetooth using my phone, and enjoy wireless Android Auto in minutes, no cable required! It had the simplest set up I had ever used, and it has worked flawlessly since installation. It works with both Car Play and Android Auto, but I have not had an iPhone to test its performance on Apple devices. I highly reccomend this adapter!

Finally don't have to connect my phone every time I go in my car. Definitely a convenience thing. Although there is some lag on the audio. I've disconnected and reconnected the dongle a few times like suggested in other reviews but no luck. Other than that, pretty much just works.

I am actually really surprised by this! Coming from the age of FM transmitters, I wasn't very hopefully. But this android auto adapter has been used on a 9 hour road trip both ways and didn't drop once. Once connected for the first time, it takes about 10 seconds for it to automatically connect the next time I get in my car. People also mentioned experiencing lag. I haven't experienced any lag using this so far. Happy with it so far! Would buy again.

I really like this device. It works great and keeps me from having to mess with plugging my phone into the USB port every time I want to use CarPlay with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. When I start the car I plug this into the port and after about 10 seconds or less the CarPlay interface shows up on the screen. I unplug it when I turn the car off because my car’s USB port supplies power to the port even with the car off and my phone will sometimes want to connect to it when I am at home. Anyway, it’s great and worth every penny.

Works exactly as advertised. Easy set up and reconnects upon reentry. It is much more stable than my other one. No issues!

It works really well. I especially like that it connects automatically when I get in to my car and with the push of a button we can switch to my wife’s phone. It is very easy to set up and it feels as if it is a plug and play. Not having to use a cable to connect my phone to use CarPlay makes less stuff in the dashboard area

I bought this so I could go wireless and it does the job great and fits my needs perfectly. It connects the second I open up the door and all the apps work as they should. The reason it didn't get 5 stars is due to occasional clipping of music for a split second. It's very minimal and random when it happens.

Easy set-up. Works great. No log noticed. The only issue i had was the intermittent lost of connection. I had to unplug-plug it if it happens. But it resumes connection and activity right away.

EASY EASY EASYYYY to connect! It works great! However, there is a slight lag between my phone ringing & the ring reaching my car’s dashboard system…sorta like an echo. Did I say it was EASY to connect :-) ?! I guess I’ll keep it, unless I read where there’s a better one (within the same price range).

So far so good. Works like a charm. Easy to connect. Within seconds it reconnects everytime you get into vehicle. Way better than the motorola one I got before this one. Still haven't tried the 2 phones connect to switch from phone to phone, but will update it after I find out, purpose for the reason why I bought it.

At first I didn’t know what to expect but I’m so happy it connects quickly and stays connected while driving. I would recommend this to friends and family. Nice not having to connect to a cord for apple play. It’s been great. Owned it for almost two months now and still working great!

I'm not going to lie. I was very skeptical of this actually working. But the instructions are super clear and it worked right away, no problems whatsoever. It even works better than the actual cable system that came with the car lol

I've tried a few of these. I like that this one stays out of the way (no cord) and it just works. So far no freezing, like so many do, and it has booted up 100% of the time. Note: This review is based on using it for Android Auto. I have not tried it's Apple Car Play function.

It’s preforms its essential function making my CarPlay wireless. But some noticeable negatives about the product being the speed of how the CarPlay works at times being VERY slow with changing between apps at times. As well as calling, as calls immediately get hung up as if the phones connected are dead. Was it worth the price I so t think so, luckily I had point saved up to get this for free.

Been using it for a couple of weeks and it was easy to install and connect. Process took a couple minutes at best. I was worried about losing connection while driving, but so far it has proven like a great investment. I would highly recommend.

So far so good, I plug it in and it connects fairly easy. Only had one instance where the biuethoot kept trying to connect. Other than that it works as intended.
