Overall, I'd give it five stars. Great range when transmitting to Bluetooth headphones. As I remember it's advertised as having a 50 foot range. When I use it in receiving mode, so far I've only had to use it in a shorter range, I also seems to have very good battery time. My one complaint, which is stated in the instructions, when you switch between transmit and receiver mode, you have to repair it. Also if the battery runs out while you're using the device, if you just plug it in, it will lose the BT connection. So you have to turn off the device and then turn it back on. If the manufacture could correct these two faults, they'd have a great device. However, this is a great device as I listen to Internet radio frequently and run it through my home stereo. I also use it to transmit to my headphone for other programing. It's great to have only one device as previously I had two devices one to transmit and one to receive. This device cuts down on space and extra wires.

We use this little device to listen to television over headphones so we don’t wake up the grandbaby. In receiver mode it pairs nicely with the Bluetooth signal that comes from our Samsung TV, and although the pairing process is sometimes a little clunky, once connected the signal is solid and clear. And there’s enough power to drive a pair of headphones through a splitter for three hours or so before recharging.

Got this since phone manufacturers are dumb and are removing headphone jacks. Plugged this into my car so my phone just auto-connects when I get in.
Works perfectly. I can also use this on battery power with my headphones in a pinch, which I've had to do on multiple occasions.
Sound is on par with any other bluetooth audio, save for Sony's LDAC. Nothing spectacular, hence the 4 stars.

We recently got a car made in 2017, and although I can bluetooth my phone to the vehicle, it's only for calls, and NOT for streaming a music service. The USB port in the center console isn't for streaming either. That's only for playing music that's physically on my phone. Nope, to stream a music service from my phone to the radio in the car, l have to use the headphone jack in the center console. Yeah, weird, I know. So I been looking for something that plugs into a headphone jack that's a bluetooth receiver, like this. Except, I'm not interested in using it for hands free calling! And for crying out loud, I don't need something else that has to charge up separately! Well, despite those two things, this did work great while I used it. But here's some advice if you are looking for something similar to what I was describing. Just keep looking. They actually do make bluetooth receivers that are just that, receivers, and even ones that plug into a USB port to get their power, instead of having to charge separately.

The Bluetooth Alturak Audio receiver and transmitter works great for my Bose SLIII Bluetooth speaker. I wanted to send television audio to this speaker, and the Alturak device accomplishes the task. It’s small size is also convenient, and makes it easy to hide on the back of our Sony television. This device is inexpensive, but works well.

LOVE this little guy. Streaming Spotify in 2008 Mercedes with an AUX headphone style input. The sound quality is GREAT and the battery life impressive. If it turned itself off after say 10 minutes without music it'd get 5 stars. As is you have to remember to turn it off. Not a deal breaker and the price point for what it delivers is a real value.

The most recent phone I bought lacks a headphone jack, so I was at a bit of a loss as to how to play music in my car, which didn't have bluetooth, until i got this. Set up is painless, push the power button and hold it down to put the device into pairing mode and then pair it to the phone. Battery life is good, device is small and light. If you have a 3.5 mm input then this will give you a bluetooth receiver. I haven't tried to transmitter function yet. Works flawlessly. great value.

I recently purchased this unit to use with my new video projector. With the COVID-19 "Stay at Home" recommendations being the order of the day, back yard movie nights have become a favorite entertainment for my kids and grand kids. The unit allows me to wirelessly transmit the audio portion of a streamed or DVD program to a bluetooth-equipped PA system for a big audio experience to match the big screen video experience. Easy to use, easy to charge and the sound quality is great. So far, I'm completely satisfied. P.S., I also use the unit to transmit the contents of my old iPod (without Bluetooth) to my audio system.

I ordered this to replace a similar item I had that died on me after a year. I hope this one lasts longer. It is easy to set up but sometimes has a problem connecting to my headset. Usually shutting it off and turning it back on again fixes the issue.

I bought this to connect my non-Bluetooth tv to my Alexa Dot as a remote wireless speaker. It connected easily and the sound quality was good, but the latency problem causing a lip-sync issue made it awkward to watch tv so I returned it. I believe it would work great for music only or where lip-syncing is not a concern.

Great product, my wife and I used on a long Arline flight. Hooked it up to our MS Surface and were both able to hear on our bose headsets at the same time, watching movies.
Then at home Used it RX mode on my Onkyo Home theater system and play music from my cell phone.

This device will transmit audio to Bluetooth headphones and receive Bluetooth audio from devices such as an iPhone.
Transmitting:
My purchase was to allow me to watch TV in our RV without the audio disturbing my sleeping wife. While it works, I find that the maximum range is closer to 10 feet, and there is a noticeable issue with A/V sync. This means that the audio is realized slightly behind the video. For many shows (especially sports) this is OK, but when trying to watch a show where people are talking, it drives me nuts. I spent years editing video, so I will admit to being more sensitive to A/V Sync that most. Nonetheless, the delay is real.
Receiving:
I had no problem pairing to an iPhone and playing back audio back through this device. Since there is no video to sync to--the device worked great when used within the range.

This unit works as described. Size is as desired and performs reliably. Multi-functional. Can you be used for home and auto audio. The ability to switch from transit to receive and vis a vi is a major plus.

This is great for an old television without bluetooth. The volume drops a little but not bad. I get about 15-20 feet with no interference. Fairly easy to connect.

Works just as described. Does have about 30' range and does like any bluetooth with obstacles in the way and cutting out. Does well in pairing with ear buds, headphones, phones, as well to send and receive signals. I recommend this for close use near the devices to be paired.
