I bought a Aluratek for a Sony television a few months ago and it was so easy to set up I was amazed. So we needed a new one, went with a Vizio and another Aluratex to my disappointment it didn’t work. I got in touch with Aluratex and a very nice man helped me try to set it up but nothing worked. The Vizio didn’t have any connections for it. Rommel was the man that tried to help me. So i took the the television back bought a Samsung and the Aluratex worked on it.

First off this device does not have a built-in battery and needs to be plugged in in order for it to work. I guess it's meant to remain in one place. Other than that it works well and easy to pair.

Connected to a Sony TV and paired to a headset that can pair to 2 devices. Instructions were not clear on how to do this so it took multiple tries to finally get the headset to pair but once done it works great. It is paired with bone conduction headset.

Extremely Satisfied on the Transmit side, haven't attempted the receive side as yet. LG Smart TV did not come with Bluetooth, so this device using the optic audio port and my Skull Candy Bluetooth headsets works great!

I have used this for a while. You just need to be very sure all the Bluetooth devices are off within range or it will pick them up and pair. I can see that using it in an apartment building could be an issue.

Our tv was good visually we just couldn’t connect it via Bluetooth to our sound bar. So to bring out tv’s technology up to date as there was nothing else wrong with it we bought this little guys and the problem out date just went away. Our tv now has a way to transmit a Bluetooth signal to receive audio on an entertainment system old school home theater or the way we went is wire cutting through use of a sound bar.

Connect various electronics using this device from Aluratek. You can connect a Bluetooth device and improve the connection through advanced Bluetooth 5 technology, which allows streaming up to 100 feet. I wasn't able to test the full distance, but this has a stronger signal from farther away than any previous bluetooth connection. I hooked up a speaker using the receiver mode, and a bluetooth headset and a TV to this device, through transmitting mode, without any issues. They each paired up easily by following the directions in the quick start guide, although it does some of the work for you. It enabled the use of my bluetooth headset with my older model TV, and had great sound quality from across the room; even when I left the room, the signal stayed strong. Since this is both a receiver and a transmitter, depending on which other devices you want to connect to it, it eliminates the need for separate units. Simply move the switch to receiver mode, shown as RX, and pair it to an audio device. Changing it to the TX side of the switch activates the transmitting function. This is the option to connect your TV to headphones or external speakers. It even let's you connect to two different sets of bluetooth headphones, so 2 people could listen at the same time to a TV, or to a computer or music player, like an MP3 player. Connecting your TV to bluetooth headset is the best feature it has, for my purposes at least, but it has the versatility to do more. It comes with the receiver, a USB cord for power (it's not rechargeable or battery powered), and three cords for connecting. Depending on the device you're using, you can use the 3.5mm cable, an RCA-Y cable, or even an optical cable to link a wired device. This is a great device- no complaints or issues with design or operation of this product.

Have a receiver without bluetooth, but way too nice to get rid of. Read all the reviews (mixed), and took a chance. Works well for me. Not quite wired-CD quality, but better than radio, and I can stream from my phone, and music silences with incoming calls, nice. Works well for my studio space, haven't tried big distances, and probably won't need to. Good value.

I was able to hook this up to a older television to get Bluetooth, and it was absolutely great. Highly recommended – much better than some of the other ones that are out there

Very good product for bluetooth connectivity for TV and other media. Needs improvement on procedure to connect. I took a long time to learn. Please create youtube videos to help better understand procedure.

This did have better range than the Ankar that I was using and the AptHD is noticeable. I which it had a light for SBC and a on off button instead of having to to unplug the USB.

I have a soundbar that connects wired and I wanted to connect to my home audio system wirelessly especially via Bluetooth. This allows me to connect my phone wirelessly via Bluetooth and stream audio through the soundbar. With the low latency and high audio streaming options, I don't have any audio degradation or lag. This was a perfect fit for my home audio system and is exactly what I needed.

I've purchased other Bluetooth trancievers and they all were not good enough to watch videos with. I was skeptical at first when the packaging stated minimal delay with new Bluetooth version, they were not lying! I finally can use my computer monitor or projector with my wireless speakers!! So happy with this purchase.

I bought, previously, a similar Bluetooth wireless audio transmitter and receiver for TVs, more expensive, and I had to return it because it did not perform as it should. Bought this item, super easy to set up. Works as it supposed to. Glad I found this one and very happy with its performance. Strongly recommend it.

Works for what I need. Wish I could have local volume adjustment thru the headphone Jack but I understand similar products have this limitation as well.

Great for turning a non Bluetooth device to a Bluetooth device. Purchased a TV and didn't realize it wasn't Bluetooth compatible. After some research, I found this and was able to convert my TV to connect to Bluetooth headsets. The set up is SIMPLE and doesn't take much space at all.

This has worked very well as it is meant to do. I used it with phone to speaker, as well as from TV to headphones, and it performed expectedly well in both instances

It was hard to connect this device to my tv. The instructions were hard to follow. I returned and bought a TV with bluetooth.
