It's extremely easy to install and clever. It adds 2 USB ports to your original outlet without plugging anything into the outlet directly. Instead, it's a wall plate with metal tabs that touch the screw terminals on the outlet inside the wall, providing electricity to the 2 USB ports. Whether the ports go on top or bottom is important and you have to look at the model number to know according to the instructions. The only thing is that in order to secure the wall plate properly, you have to have a square outlet that takes a wall plate with screws on top and bottom. I have a cheaper (and more common) outlet that is rounded and takes just one screw right in the middle to hold the wall plate. As a result, I ended up using packing tape to secure this item to the wall. Not attractive or ideal, but very functional. I'm not going to spend the extra money to buy the right kind of outlet, but it's something I should've been aware of before buying it.

The item is a bit bulky and it doesn't sit against the wall perfectly, but it does charge pretty well. It charges about as quickly as an iphone charger, but definitely slower than an ipad charger. It will not work with a standard receptacle that uses a two-hole receptacle cover. It requires an outlet receptacle that uses a large, single, rectangular hole cover.

These are super easy to install and instantly gives you 2 usb ports. They don't sit flush against the wall but it could be an issue with the outlet vs the actual wall plate. Gap is tiny and only noticeable if you really stare closely. Works as advertised

Very good, easy to setup practically don't need to unwire anything, has latching plates that connects instantly. Recommending it to anyone.

I like the unit expert for the LEDs. There is a red one for one USB and a green one for the other USB, which can be confusing. If you are going to use this in the bedroom, beware that the LEDs are bright. Otherwise, this unit works well and is easy to install.

I love the idea of this product. I can't really rate it though because I was not able to use it. The product does not fit my outlet (which is a relatively new outlet). I have a message into their support team for any ideas, but I have a feeling I will need to return this product unless I want to replace the entire outlet.

I installed the port as instructed, but it does not fit flush with wall. Receptacle covers are recessed to allow edges to fit flush if receptacle is not flush. Add on receptacles are not flush, therefore this adapter has gap around edges.

Awesome little USB wall charger. No need to have a USB adapter to charge my devices on the wall anymore. Now I can still use the 2 wall outlets and charge 2 usb devices simultaneously. Overall, very happy with purchase.

The usb ports work and it was very easy to install. The color doesn't quite match my other white outlet wall plates which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

The Aluratek - USB Charging Decor Wall Plate, is an interesting concept. You remove the wall plate, slip the Aluratek in where it's contacts make contact with the power plug outer contacts, then screw it down. The plate has a small shelf to set your phone on, etc. as it charges from one of the two rapid charging USB slots. It also does not block access to the two power wall plugs. The Aluratek looks good and functions well. Gotta love it !

Since everyone that comes over to the house always ask to charge their phone I thought it would be a great idea to install this in a central location.

Installed in s location that I did not have room for multiple chargers. Also can not leave a charger plugged in all the time.

I bought 2 on Bestbuy.com, to test them out on my kitchen. The install was quick and easy, both plug in devices and USBs work wonderfully. Definitely recommended especially if, like most of us are in need of multiple charging areas throughout the home for phones and pads.

This product is easy to install you do not need and electrician and paid $75 dollars to do it. This outlet plate with 2 usb attached is amazing.

These were so easy to install. Just remove the old faceplate and put these on & screw them down. Works like a charm.
