When I got the package opened, I wondered how two metal flanges on the outside of the plug-ins could accept charge. Plugged in my phone, with a cord that worked on my PC plug, and there was no charge all night. I'm bringing it back.

As others have said, the install is simple and quick. Just take off your existing plate cover on an outlet and slip this one into place. All you need is a screwdriver. The light to indicate a USB device is charging is red or green depending on the port being used. Now we don't have to consume a normal ground plug on the outlet to charge our devices.
